This small chapel in blue and white has a beautiful interior with gold icons. The lady in the shop is very friendly, pity she only speaks Latvian.

The chapel is very recent, consecrated in 2004. It was built in the place of Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, which was demolished in the sixties of the 20th century. Present chapel is nothing but a place for worship to orthodox and kind of a landmark.
