The shopping centre is centrally located and offers almost everything you need. Wi-Fi works well. Tasku carwash in the downstairs offers great service too.

This shopping center is the nearest to hotel Dorpat, There are several shops, clothes, shoes, make up, flowers, pharmacy, food, household textiles, optical shops, bars and cafes. I found this shopping center very handy staying in hotel Dorpat. The opening hours are extensive and rest room very tidy and easy to find.

Tasku translates as 'wallet' or 'pocket', which may infer visitors need to bring their wallets. Plasku - built before Tasku - translates as 'flask', which is its visual appearance. Tasku is linked to Plasku - same site, same owner. Tasku is diagonally across the busiest Tartu road junction from Kaubamaja shopping mall. Tasku is the largest of the two shopping malls. Tasku has 3 spacious floors of shops and restaurants, 1 extensive book shop, 1 multi-screen cinema, 1 medical centre and substantial parking.

Tasku shopping centre is great for visitors. Baby back restaurant has delicious food, friendly staff and staff fluent in English and various languages. We visited the cinema as tourists and had no problems communicating with staff, the prices was cheap compared to UK cinemas, the cinema was tidy, chairs was comfy and great atmosphere. Tasku is less than 5 minutes walk from Hotel tartu and next to Tartu coach station.
