The centre is easy to walk round. There are many choices of restaurants. 2 good book shops and lots of local produce. The xmas decorations and xmas stalls are fantastic.

Tartu Old City is lovely old town but very different from Tallinn’s. Tartu is much smaller and there is not so much to see. Interesting thins though, like the old city hall and the old, ruined university.
