We’ve heard the stories about the Danish flag falling from the sky, the oldest flag. Little did we know that Tallinn was ruled bu a Danish king for 100 years and this garden is “allegedly” where the flag fell from the sky. Quite dramatic surrounding...More

It is a old rock-build wall with some wooden structures attached. the most medieval stylish place I visit in tallinn. And even those monks without face compose a peaceful scheme to me. The vendor smells good, but we have no chance to try tough. This...More

The statues around this area tell a story, but on first sight, they are somewhat scary. read the boards around and understand them and the history. Busy area and access to the city walls. Very Good.

At the top of the climb from the town square is the garden of the Danes. Some amazing monk statues and a great view of the city.

The statues that are in this garden are really quite creepy as they are cowled monks but without faces. Because these statues are so unusual it is this that makes them worth a visit.

The three oversized monk statues are quite interesting to see and provide for great photo ops. Go early or late to avoid the cruise ship hoards.
