A thoroughly enjoyable trip to the medieval Europe’s baddest moments. A great many things to look at, with thorough information plaques, however, I would suggest putting these in a mock-castle, or even a real one, in order to pump up the ambience of the appropriate...More

Two boys in red costumes gave an invitation to me for visiting this museum. What may I say... These historical times were very severe times really. If be honest, I did not want to live in those Medieval times.

Unless you are some hardcore morbid BDSM type, I would skip this one. The one in Amsterdam is much better, this one had only a few exhibits (all replicas) and the rest were just pictures on the wall

For someone who is interested in medieval life and/or instruments of torture, this is a nice exhibit. Unfortunatelly, man is most inventive when torturing another. For me, this was worth the money.

As I passed by this museum, I was given a flyer to enter this museum. While the collection of torture instruments was interesting, I found that the museum was quite small and I got through the collection very quickly. For 8 euros, I would have...More

You could read about most this stuff online for free or buy a book for the same price. on Amazon. Interesting place but far too small, there’s far better places in Tallinn to visit and easier on the wallet prices too. It’s informative and fascinating...More

Must-see for anyone interested in dark history! I found it worth the money, as I'm interested in this sort of thing. There was a nice selection of torture instruments, and information about each of them.

Entry was 8 euros and while interesting there was not a huge amount to see or do. Think it was way overpriced but otherwise ok
