I've been there with my family of four (3 adults and a teen, I myself have claustrophobia and a fear of darkness) a few days ago. I was hesitant to go to the dungeon at first, because on the brochure it looked kind of scary, and I've had bad experiences with scary attractions before. But from the first seconds spent there I was completely amazed at how professional these young actors and workers were. The actor who introduced us to rules asked about claustrophobia, epilepsy, and fears, and since I have claustrophobia and an another fear, he told us that any of us can skip the "scary elevator ride" if wanted and that even if we do, we won't miss anything. I skipped it, but everything was truly made so professionally that I didn't miss a thing said or shown, it was just way less scary. And later on the actors showed their infinite competency of communicating by caring about us every second of the show, making sure we're okay and comfortable while still playing their roles magnificently. And about the show - everything was made and played very succesfully and it was certainly interesting and worth its price.
I REALLY REALLY recommend this place to anyone and everyone, because even if you're extra sensitive, like me, you will be all good, and actors will take good care of you. You will certainly regret if you miss this attraction!

We happened upon this little nugget by mistake but had recognized the tour emblem from the Mary Close Tour in Edinburgh. While a bit pricey 16€ per person, the attraction did a fabulous job with telling the story of underground Tallin. It was a great mix of over the top but truly was a blast. We had such a great time.

Great way to spend half an hour or so cheaply and learn a little of Tallinn's history and legends. A cleverly designed show using live actors, animation and props. Especially liked the way they told the story of the plague as well as the alchemist legend. May be a bit scary in places for young children but adults and older kids should get a real kick out of it.

The Tallinn Legends was quite interesting. I don't want to go into details here, because the element of surprise is part of the experience. I booked a tour in Finnish, and the narration was fine, but some of the actors had an accent so bad their lines were impossible to understand. I wish I had chosen the English version. The display and all the sets were well build and the stories were interesting. Generally I liked the experience and I can recommend it, mostly because it's not an ordinary museum. I left the place with a not-so-good feeling, because first, there was no guarded wardrope to leave your outdoor clothing and shopping bags, you have to wear it the whole hour. Secondly they seemed to want money all the time. At first there was a very unnecessary photo session and they were of course keen to sell the photos and at the end of the tour they seemed to expect tips, even though we already paid good money for our tickets.

Too bad they dont tell by ticketing its very frightening. Our children aged 8 and 10 were quite scared and I had to leave after 10 minutes (10 years ). The English is fast and because of A lot of noises its not possible to hear all they say and No time for translating.

In retrospect I don't know why we ever went here!!! We could tell from the first few minutes we made a bad decission. It is sooo contrived and the "history" of Mediaeval Estonia it purports to display is dodgy at best. AVOID and put your money towards a good meal - lots of good restaurants to choose from in the ciold town!!!

I was really not excited about going to this but got dragged there by my girlfriend. There are 9 rooms in total and they are all extremely well done with great design, tech and acting. I was entertained from the very beginning and the 45 minutes went by way too fast. There was clearly a lot of thought and effort put into the making of each room and the special effects were top notch. This is an excellent value for the money and if you have the time, well worth doing. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Tallinn.

I visited this steampunk (in my opinion) attraction on my own and was made feel very welcome from the start.
The show itself was fantastically run with the actors very patient and remaining in character despite my ability to get lost even in enclosed spaces!
I would recommend this to those with 40 minutes to kill and those with an interest in medieval history.
It really is not suitable for small children (scary bits!) or those with photo sensitive epilepsy (rapid strobe lighting)

In summary, well worth the visit and money!

A bit hokey, but fun nevertheless, even for two seniors.
You proceed through a series of rooms in the basement of a historical building and hear various legends in each room. I couldn’t understand all of what they say, but that did not take away the delight in the novelty of it all. Young actors, and a clever design, create a charming experience. It is even a little bit scary at times (but not too much).
