Thanks Waypoint team for this fantastic and excellent experience, and a big thank you for my tour guide Ms. Anne for her amazing and professional performance.
I will try to book again during my current stay but I'm sure that I will book again in my next stay in Tallinn.

I can't express how much I hope other travelers will support this young, enthusiastic company. They provide excellent value, quirky, personal service, and a real passion for showing their country to visitors! oh, and home made apple cake!

I first emailed Waypoint two months ago, hoping for some help with a day out for 25 active travelers looking for something a bit different. Little did I know how wonderfully things would turn out!

I requested some historical things, some cultural things, and, most importantly, bog-shoeing. We got all that and so much more...

I now know they normally do mostly bike tours, but they rose to the challenge, arranging us a 25 person bus and an AMAZING day out. We went to the beach, some cliffs, had coffee, ran up a light house, saw Klooga holocaust memorial, went on a great forest hike, went bog-shoeing, oh, and had a massive lunch. I'm still sure I've missed something!

Jack was a joy to correspond with. He and Anne were able to answer all of our questions, no matter how ridiculous. They were also able to change our itinerary on the fly based on conditions both weather and traveler related.

Our visit to the bog was the highlight of the whole weekend for most people. No one had ever heard of bog-shoeing, but it turned out we were all really good at it (or so they made us think)!

We loved them so much that 14 of us took a cycling tour with Anne and Richard on Monday. Thank you so much for everything. We look forward to seeing some of the many photos you took!

We visited Tallinn on a Silversea ship on July 6. I worked with Anne to customize a 4-5 hour biking excursion of the Tallinn area. A group of five guys in our 60's participated. We all agreed it was our favorite excursion among the many we enjoyed during a two week tour of the Baltics. (We are from the USA.)

Our guide, Mart, was fantastic. And, we found Tallinn to be an especially attractive town!

I came across Waypoint at the beginning of a 3 month self-guided bike tour. We needed a bike mechanic to assemble our coupled tandem bike, plus we had a few days in Tallinn so we also wanted a guide to give an overview. Now the tours is done, so I've a chance to share my experience with Waypoint. (hint: I really liked them)

The tours. Anne lead a small group on a waling tour of the old city. She hit all the major sites giving history and context. Her real strength is the gentle approach. Always engaged and gladly answering our questions.

We also bit on the night ride tour. This was a great experience covering areas outside of the old city. We stopped at monuments, parks, and even the president's residence! Despite the chilly/windy night, we would definitely repeat.

Last but not least, the bike mechanic. Being a tandem bike that breaks into several parts including hydraulic disc breaks and an electric hub system, this is a complex machine. And of course I know that this is something they hadn't ever seen. So how did they do?

Our bike honestly has never run as smoothly! I don't even think new it ran as well. Over the course of riding we packed and unpacked our bike two additional times in other cities with other mechanics. Each time something was off and we'd remember how well it ran after Waypoint put it together. They even emailed us asking how the bike is doing!

Waypoint is a small operation staffed with nice people who care about their clients. Highly recommend!

I took the industrial site bike tour, and it was fantastic. Saw a lot of amazing former Soviet and Russian Empire sites while also learning a ton about Estonia's recent history. Our tour guide, Anne, was tremendous and knew the answers to every question. Great way to see more of Tallinn than just Old Town.

this was my first trip to tallin and felt a tour was needed to really understand the culture. we met our terrific tour guide anne by the maritime museum. this is an excellent meeting place for us cruise pasengers since when you do the 15 minute easy walk from the ship, the museum is right at the entrance to the town. there were only four of us but the tour was on. anne, our tour guide was wonderful, she was knowledgeable, patient answered all our questions, spoke great english and showed us anything we wanted to see. i would definitely recommend this tour for cruisers and other visitors looking to do a walking tour. please note while the tour is free, the guides depend on tips and anne certainly deserved the tip she received.

I took a walking tour of the Old Town in the morning and a combined cycling trip (Industrial Stalker and Seaside Adventure) in the afternoon. I loved the cycling trip as an alternative thing to do. It was around a relatively less trodden path of Tallinn.
Perks of off-season travel: getting a private tour but paying for a group tour. A tour company who still runs tours even if only one person books is just beyond excellent in my book. I would also add an extra star if i could for the nicest, sweetest tour guide I've ever had (Anne). The tour was almost like just walking and cycling with a friend.
Booking was no hassle at all. Replies were prompt. But during off-season, their office at Patarei Prison where they keep their bikes is closed. So don't arrive too early for your tour (or you could check out the Seaplane Harbor next door if you have enough time).

Highly recommended. Anne and his friend were very nice. We visited the harbour area, kadriorg's park and palace and many other sites. Anne's explanations were really interesting and the views extremely enjoyable!

I was in Tallinn the first week of May off a cruise ship. I booked the old town walking tour prior to leaving on the trip. When I arrived at the meeting point, I was surprised to find out I was the only person who had booked the tour that day. I really appreciate that Anna did not cancel since it was only one person. She was very friendly and informative. I really enjoyed the tour. I will note that if you are someone who has mobility issues there are cobblestones and one small hill you will walk up.

My sister and I did the Industrial Stalker tour with Anne as our guide. It was a breath of fresh air to get out of the Old Town and see reality! She took us to places we would never have found on our own and was really keen to tailor the tour to our interests. Anne was very knowledgeable and just a great guide to be around. I would highly recommend this tour to get yet another take on Tallinn, Estonia and the past.
