Top gun range to explore you’re inner desire to shoot guns and have fun. We’ve been to other ranges but here the difference is you can go off the set package and create your own. Prices are competitive and they take cash or on a card.
Staff were firm on safety but welcoming at the same time. Easy to get to just hop on No 3 or. 4 tram to Tondi and walk around into the obvious industrial estate following the signs.
After an adrenaline rush of excitement it’s all over too quickly but you can relive your experience with your photos, or video on slow mo can be great for capturing the moment of muzzle flash.
If you’ve never shot guns on a city break, maybe it’s time to try?

I live in Oslo, I have been here twice. Years ago and just last weekend. Both times it was Jason Bourne type fun. This is the best range in North Europe, and one of the few. Which makes it pretty well priceless. The staff are cool, they will provide you with experience you want, custom if that is your need. I honestly don't think I saw anyone there either time not having the time of their life. Couples for sure do this. Tallin has a great old city, see that and go shooting here. I grew up with guns, but not Russian guns, so it was a fascinating historical time too.

Shooting was a birthday gift for my dad, but we came with a whole family. Despite my mum and I were not so fond of shooting, we decided to try it out, and liked it so much that decided to buy more shots. Thanks to our instructor Ruslan! He gave us tips on what guns are better for each of us and made it a fun experience!

This is one of two shooting ranges in Tallinn that offers shooting packages, and also permits gun owners to practice, based on availability.
It is located within the city limits, in an underground facility that is a bit hard to find.
The guns and gun-packages are similar to what you will find at the other, similar venue in Kopli.
The facility itself appears a bit worn and looks less inviting and less professional than it could.

This was the ninth time going to this shooting range for me: Four times i had been there with friends or relatives for a tourist-package that included different guns, the rest was shooting practice with my own gun.

Three of the four times doing a tourist package there had seemed to be a problem with bookings - ours or that of others - so that there were considerable delays before even going to the actual range. There were never any explanations or apologies offered for the, at times, considerable delays (25min).
The fact that the system hasn't changed one bit in the last 5 years goes to show that improvements don't seem to be viewed a necessity.
Overall, one might get the impression that quantity goes before quality.

When looking at the advertisement you get the impression that you and your party will be alone with an instructor while shooting the gun package that you chose.
That may likely not be the case.
I had three cases where there were several couples/groups under one instructor and shooting different gun packages at the same time, and one shooter at a time. This led to hang-ups, delays and confusion. At one time there were 9 people belonging to 4 different parties on the range with one instructor - way too many in my opinion.

The instruction before the actual shooting when participating in a package is very brief and way too fast in my opinion: Just because you have spoken the same safety instructions a few hundred times doesn't mean that you can skimp on it; I consider that unprofessional.
FYI: I was a small arms instructor in the military, and later at some point a civil flight instructor. Trust me - i know.

The advertising is in English (among other languages), and foreigners are obviously catered to. I would expect a certain level of English to be spoken by all of the staff, but at least one instructor seems to have considerable problems with it.

There seems to be usually only one person on site, and when that person acts as instructor/supervisor with other clients there is no-one in the lounge/reception area to welcome the next clients. Obviously he/she then has to process all the new clients at the same time before shooting, which again leads to hang-ups and waiting periods.
If that person happens to be the gentleman who seems out of his depth speaking English, you can not but just go with the flow, whatever your concern or question may have been.

When shooting solo, i encountered problems on four out of five times: Either the bookings that i made by phone were not known by the staff on site at all, or they showed up at a wrong time on their computer. There seems to be a problem in this regard.

No dear staff, raising your shoulders and saying 'I know this is a problem but there is nothing i can do.' doesn't cut it. Not a bit, as it was a repeat.

As i prefer practicing with metal targets and there is only one row tihat has it, i asked for it each time when booking, just to be told later by the staff on site that they have no info about it and that i should just tell them when i show up. Right...

The one time when i did not specifically ask for it i arrived at the range to find the entire main range to be occupied by local LEOs, and thusly the metal targets as well.
The staff on site arrived late, had initially yet again no idea about my booking (it was eventually found on the computer) and told me that there was no room for me on the range, despite my booking. Then, after some time and some grumbling on his part, i was told that there was room.
Upon paying my fee of 14,-EUR with two bills and 15,-EUR total, the elder gentleman/instructor behind the counter began counting out 1- and 2-Cent coins for my change of 1,-EUR, as he seemed to have no change at all.
I refused to accept it, especially as i could see that the amount that he shoved my way was considerably less than the one EUR i had to get.
Well... Welcome to Estonia once again. I live here since 2006, btw, and i know how locals are, but i can still be surprised.
I was then gruffly told to join three other shooters on a side range - the recently converted test range of the gunsmith that used to be there; In my opinion there was no room for four shooters there, and, of course, no metal targets.
I refused, got my money back, and left.

I received a text message shortly after leaving, telling me in Estonian that i had "not been given permission" to use the metal targets, the text been written in a rude and disrespectful way - at least considering that i am a client.

That was my last time going there, i will practice at the other shooting range in Kopli from here on, even though it is a bit longer drive for me.

Let me clear some things up:
1- I am a woman
2- I went there by myself
3- I felt completely safe
4- I had the fun of a lifetime!!!

The instructors are great, very nice and patient, shooting a real gun is a lot of fun,
and you don't need a guy with you to go there. If you are a curious woman, like me, go for it and I am sure you will NOT regret it!!!! I loved it!!! For sure I will go there again next time I'm in Tallinn!!

We took the Russian package, which was to shoot with 6 Russian guns. The guy who set them up for us and showed us how to use them did really well considering he spoke hardly any English. It was a really fun hour, shooting the whole spectrum from pistols to kalasnikovs, sniper rifles and semi-automatics, but for 130€ for 2 people it was quite expensive. If it had been either longer or cheaper then we may have gone back the next day as we had time in Tallinn. I guess this is set up for groups, which may stretch out the time more. Go if you want to splurge on something different, and don't forget to wear your ear defenders!

Booked fairly last minute and found the service was excellent. Tõnis was highly professional and an excellent teacher ensuring it was done in a safe and controlled way. Wide selection of packages available as well.
If you’re wanting to try out shooting then I highly recommend this place

I booked the Adrenalin Rush package via email from UK to ensure I didn't miss out. Return emails were efficient, polite and the reservation easy to make.
I arrived on the day and the package has 12 weapons to shoot in total. I tried everything from 9mm pistols, AK-47, M4 through to .357 and .44 magnums. Being from the UK, it's not every day you get the chance to feel the awesome power of these tools.
The training was safety orientated and rightly so. These are formidable weapons by anyone's standards. Being an indoor range, it is pretty noisy - far more than i expected but ear defenders and safety glasses are of course provided. The big magnum handguns have a hell of a kick and it was awesome to experience this first hand. One of the Glocks littered me with spent cartridges. I also remember firing one gun and watching 5 inch spits of flame either side of the barrel!
I'd have perhaps liked a few more magnum rounds but 20 shots with the AK was big fun. Overall, i wasn't too hot with any of the revolvers/pistols but my AK and M4 groupings were fairly tight for a first timer. I certainly recommend this experience to anyone with even a remote interest in guns. It certainly is impressive to feel the firepower for real. Don't forget to book in advance and have an amazing time at Tondi Shooting Range. Thanks guys...

as an ex soldier I was looking forward to having a shoot of some combat weapons after a 25 year absence!
I booked this package and I was able to persuade my doubting wife and very enthusiastic daughter to join me.
What a superb time we had these guys are very professional, the range is small but perfectly suited to its needs.
ok not the cheapest thing you will ever do but both my wife and daughter absolutely loved it and both agreed that it was worth it.
so if you have never shot these types of weapon or indeed shot anything go on give this a go you may be surprised how much you enjoy it....

Brilliant

As per all the other reviews, this was a brilliant experience.
Booked this after personal recommendations and it didn't disappoint.

Went for the "Adrenaline Rush" package at €120 for 12 guns and 86 bullets - well worth it.

The location looks very dodgy from outside, but very professional once inside and you have met the instructors.

Loved it - fulfilled all my John Mclane/Dirty Harry fantasies
