Tallinn Top Attractions and Viimsi Open Air Museum

If your goals is to get an overview of Tallinn, its surroundings, coasts and top attractions, this tour is perfect for you. Start with discovering Tallinn’s jewel and main highlight – the Medieval Old Town. Together with colourful legends, we will introduce you to the gabled houses, churches and squares that developed here between the 13th and 15th centuries. The tour then continues to the leafy Kadriorg district. It is a park area that is home to amazing wooden villas, art museums and a baroque palace built for Russian Tsar Peter the Great. It continues onward to the Pirita beach area, where you will get a glimpse of the mysterious ruins of a 15th-century convent and the city’s soviet-era TV tower. After lunch break you will visit the Open Air Museum in Viimsi which is a complex of seaside-farmhouses over 150 years old, which is located in a picturesque coastal village. It is a relaxing location and the best place to admire the famous silhouette of Tallinn.

wonderful views from towers and a little knowledge about medieval times. If you have a few hours you will enjoy being here. You can see the city from all directions and take wonderful photos from the windows of the towers.

There were two different price 10€ for the four towers only and 14€ for a combination ticket - Four towers plus Bastion tunnels. We only pay for the towers and walkthrough the wall although it was pricey, it's worth the price.

For a small charge we were able to climb the tower and walk along the town walls - a fun experience and worth doing.

We visited the cannon tower museum and paid to include the towers and underground passage. Is well worth the €14 entrance fee. We spend nearly 3hours to walk through the underground passage which is at the start near the main tower entrance, then walk up to the main tower with interesting display on every levels and great view of the city. Lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon here. The lady at the main tower office was very helpful and took time out to show us the way and give us some detail/history of the museum. She was very friendly and give us some really knowledgeable information on Tallinn and the town. Highly recommend.
