Five minute's walk from the old town's wall, this century old, yet modern architecture is definately worth the walk. Great contrast to the Medival old town, yet a must see add on. Cozy, nice cafees:-)

A neighborhood that contrasts the spirit of the medieval city, a different area, futuristic architecture made of new buildings by strange forms, not far from the city center, but in my personal opinion Tallinn is only the historical center, the rest is just a normal...More

15 min from port and also from Old town. You should visit if you like modern architecture, there are several shops like Bershka, Stradivarius, Woman Secret and there are a lot of caffes.

Love the rehabilitation effort in the area. The old factory/warehouse buildings have been renovated to give them a new life. Other than the look, the distinct also offers quality shops and impressive restaurants.

if you love the stylish new architecture with old-factory vibe, the Rotterman Quartier is worth exploring. It’ s nearby the salt storage, built by C.B. Rotermann in 1840 where now is architectural museum with its interesting exhibitions. Close to Old Town!

A beautifully converted industrial area of town. A nice break from the Old Town, this area has many bars and restaurants with a contemporary, fashionable feel. Easy to access with pedestrian lanes, you can eat and drink at very many places, safely away from traffic....More

Rotermann is an example of how an old industrial place close to the city centre can be revamped and become a designated area for restaurants, bars, hotels and shops

This modern area next to Old Town has many dining and drinking options to offer. It is worth walking in the streets of this little neighborhood to uncover interesting architectural pieces, that really contrast with the other Tallinn ecosystem.

We felt like in a small version of Hamburgs Hafencity, Nice architecture, lots of flowers and people having dinner or shopping. Many shops especially for young people, I loved the estonian design house there. Fantastic free wifi Everywhere Not like in Hamburg

Located between city (Viru) and harbour the Rotermann Quarter is interesting architectural mixture of old two storey white brick buildings and ultra modern with glass and steel. Area offers plenty of small restaurants and shops, here you support local small business, not global chains. Traditional...More
