About
The view from Tallinn TV Tower is unique in Estonia as well as in all of Northern Europe. Under your feet are the woods of Muuga. The captivating Tallinn Old Town and the glistening Baltic Sea in all of its majestic glory are off in the distance. When Estonia was still behind the Iron Curtain, this was for many Estonians a window on the free world - at night one could even catch sight of the lights of Helsinki. To illustrate the view, visitors can use multimedia screens: to increase the area visible in it or seeing what the place looked like in the past. It is a view that must be seen. And - experienced! Bus information: The TV Tower is served by city buses 34, 38 and 49 ("Teletorn" stop), as well as by CityTour and City Sightseeing tourist buses (green line, Mere pst - Teletorn). Handicapped-accessible.

The tower is a little out of the way from the city centre but using ‘Bolt’ we easily got a taxi to and from at a low cost.
Once inside there is an observation deck and then bar area on another level which has friendly staff and great seated views to enjoy your drink. You can also walk outside from the bar level to admire the view.

Worth the trip to go and see it, as the architecture of the building was stunning.
The ticket person was very friendly and full of information.
We saw the exhibition on floor 21 which was all about DNA, but we didn’t explore that as we were not interested, and seemed a little random.
We walked round, looking at the lovely views, and then went to cafe upstairs on floor 22. Don’t be put off by the price on line - it had things like burgers for around €14, and they were really tasty. You can also get outside on this floor, on a netted balcony.
The exhibition downstairs was shut too, though we still sat behind the news desk! There was an exhibition on the 2nd floor, but again we didn’t look at this.
It would have been lovely if it had some of the sights marked, in the same way as some of the other TV towers we have visited, just to help identify key buildings and areas.

We must understand that the TV tower is not just one object, but a whole complex. This is a children's playground nearby, this is a small exhibition + playground on the first floors, this is the observation deck itself, both with glass and with the opportunity to go out into the open air, this is a cafe, this is a place for exhibitions, and a dry children's pool. Plus VR for an additional fee and a thematic exhibition about biology, which is currently being rebuilt.
Yes, some of this is better, some of it is worse. Yes, a ticket for one visit seems expensive and you may be unlucky with the weather. But still, the TV tower is worth coming to it and visiting it, seeing the whole city and not only.
Included in the museum map of Estonia.

Fantastic views of Tallinn. Our trainer, Erik, created a relaxed environment, while he shared his vast knowledge of the Tower history and landmarks we could see. Erik proved to be a great photographer and captured our experience really well. Photos were included in the price and the link to photos was emailed to us on the same day.

Excellent views of the surrounding countryside and the sea with Tallinn in the distance. Excellent indoor views plus glass floor areas dotted about. The floor has activities for young kids as well as a vr experience at an extra cost. Good outside viewing area and small openings to take clear pictures of the views. You can also see the place where, if you are brave enough, you can arrange to walk on the edge in a harness. Not for me! Lovely views of the greenery down below and distant coast line areas.
Nice cafe and restaurant area here too. Plain and simple but some nice cake treats and coffee. Excellent gift shop with a lot to tempt you. Enjoyed the simple history section on the lower floor too with loads of photos and interesting info on the construction. They also had a stained glass exhibition area. Good staff too.
Can be reached by hop on and off bus and normal bus. I went via Uber. Not bad price.

This is a little out of town but worth the trip. There is plenty of parking and the site is handicap accessible. An elevator takes visitors up 27 floors to a viewing gallery. The whole countryside is at your feet. This is also an exhibit hall. Not only does this site have importance architecturally, technically, but also historically. This is a place of national pride as the broadcasting crew was able to keep messages going during a siege. This is a place of heroes. One wonders how such a small country had the funds to invest in such an impressive monument.

This tower is amazing. The food was great and the view was fantastic. The best part though was the staff. The server was one of the best servers I have ever experienced, he was friendly and went above and beyond for us. If you are in the area, this is a must.

I've been to the Teletorn twice: once during the day and once in the evening (for a discounted price). In the evenings, the exhibitions and shop are closed, and you don't get a free welcome drink as promised. During the day, everything is open and the experience is far more enjoyable.

If you want to look at the landscape of the city, then Teletorn - tv tower - is the place to visit. I think it's great for children as wall as for adults. The best season for visiting may be summer or autumn, cause the nature is alive and everything around is so colorful.

I came from the United States but I was taken to your café by an Estonian who is from Viljandi. We so enjoyed the wonderful meals we had. And we had delightful service from George who had a very gracious smile and was an extremely accommodating server. And of course the view was great. But frankly I’d go back just to be welcomed by George and have such great food.

Does the ticket price include only the entrance to the tower or also walking on the edge of the tower roof?

Hello!
If you purchase a regular entrance ticket then it does not include Walk on the Edge. By purchasing a 30€ ticket you get to go to walk on the edge of the tower. For booking a time, please contact teletorn@teletorn.ee. It is available from 12.30 to 18.00. In the case of rain or strong wind the attraction is closed.

Hello.
How much is a taxi from old town to the tv tower? How long will it take? Is traffic normally an issue?

Hello!
Taxi shouldn't cost more than 15 € to get here from downtown.
Though, as its been said, you might want to consider coming by bus 34A/38 which will take you exactly in front of the tower :)
