About
The view from Tallinn TV Tower is unique in Estonia as well as in all of Northern Europe. Under your feet are the woods of Muuga. The captivating Tallinn Old Town and the glistening Baltic Sea in all of its majestic glory are off in the distance. When Estonia was still behind the Iron Curtain, this was for many Estonians a window on the free world - at night one could even catch sight of the lights of Helsinki. To illustrate the view, visitors can use multimedia screens: to increase the area visible in it or seeing what the place looked like in the past. It is a view that must be seen. And - experienced! Bus information The TV Tower is served by city buses 34A, 38 and 49 ("Teletorn" stop), as well as by CityTour and City Sightseeing tourist buses (green line, Mere pst - Teletorn). Handicapped-accessible.

Four seasons on one platform
The experience was amazing! 30€ for a walk on the edge at 175m, photos of the experience and TV tower ticket included. Really cool instructor who made me feel safe, made A LOT of jokes and talked about the towers history and some local landmarks that I could try and spot. Loved it! Recommending it to everyone! Tho, keep an eye out for the weather! A really cool thing was, that all four sectors of the tower have different weather. You can be smotheeed by clouds on one side and enjoy the sunshine on the other.

Walking on the edge
Oct 2019 • Solo
Being strapped into a harness and walking on the tower edge was exhilarating. Even though you are rewarded with panoramic views, you definitely don't want to look down!

Great view of the area from Soviet era TV tower
Sep 2019
Great view of the area from this Soviet era tower. There are photos and multimedia info tables that help identify the sites and history too. You can see the Baltic Sea and forested areas as well as new houses being built and industrial sites too. It really gives you an idea of the size and layout of the Tallinn metro area. Bit of a travel back in time museum in the base.

Awesome edge walk with great instructor and spectacular 360' view of city
Jul 2020
Edge Walk was absolutely fantastic. At first it felt scary, but as You have safety equipment and really kind and talkative instructor nearby, you forget about fear, realize how amazing the view is and just enjoy the moment. You have plenty of time (~20min) to enjoy your time up there. Instructor takes photos with photo camera and You get them sent over to Your e-mail adress within 1 day. They have a balcony with safety net around and it is possible to see the 360' view from floor below as well, but the feeling is totally different when You are out there near the edge. I highly suggest to visit and enjoy this activity!

Great views and nice sky bar
Mar 2020 • Couples
The tower is a little out of the way from the city centre but using ‘Bolt’ we easily got a taxi to and from at a low cost.

Once inside there is an observation deck and then bar area on another level which has friendly staff and great seated views to enjoy your drink. You can also walk outside from the bar level to admire the view.

It was a bit blurry weather when we were here, so we kinda didn't see the view that well. But still it was worth to visit. Inside the tower there is things to do and see, also you can buy some food and drinks.

Great panorama
Dec 2019 • Couples
Interesting trip out very easy on Bus 34a from Town cost 2 Euro but cheaper still on a day ticket . Amazing panorama and an interactive display all around virtual reality allows you to experience the tower as a bird would see it . Balcony on level 22 but was closed due to ice on our visit and we were in cloud but still enjoyed and a bit of history about failed coup in 1991 and the brave chaps who held the tower against Soviet forces to broadcast to outside world .

Yep recommended

Best view in Estonia!
May 2019
If you time, health, and funds allow, PLEASE sign up for the walk on the edge of the tower. It was breathtaking and so peaceful! Quite windy, but of course it would be. Thew views were great, but what I loved most was the absolute solitude. Martin, our guide, was lovely, and so informative of the tower's history and what we were looking at into the beyond space. The photos he captured up there would great. This was one of my top highlights of my stay in Estonia!
