Visited in winter so very quiet but still a nice park to spend some time in and have a walk.
Quite large and skirts a fairly large section outside the old town and a nice way to get away from the crowds on the other side of the wall.

Toompark is on the west side of Tallinn's old town, in a ditch which was dug in the 1760's. Snelli Pond was later added in the 19th C by a Swedish Gardener. It is a pleasant place to walk during the day. You can get great photos of the city walls and a stairway leads up to the popular Patkuli viewing platform. A bit further round near Nunne St is a small waterfall running down the hillside with a statue of a deer drinking at the bottom, called Metskits. Late at night this park is a bit unsafe with men wandering about trying to pick people up.

This park is accross the street from my hotel and I loved it! It was so well taken care of... so many flowers with amazing aromas, birds, ducks, trees, benches and grass areas to relax at... sculptures, even public self cleaned toilets etc! Steps from St Olaf's Church and the coffee/wine bar Vinio 🎉🙏🏼🥳

This is a pretty green park that follows the west side of Toompea. It is mostly flat, but has fairly steep walking trails almost up to the base of Toompea's structures. It is a nice, peaceful, cool place to walk on a hot day & is divinely free of tourists.

This beautiful and peaceful park which lies just otuside the city gates provides a welcome respite from the hordes inside with its picturesque moat, many walkways and interesting sculptures.

Toompark is located just outside the Old Town and at the foot of Toompea Hill. From one end of the park (near Nunne Street), stairs lead up to Patkuli viewing platform. Walking through the park alongside the serpentine lake takes you to Toompea Castle and Lindamägi Park. Opposite the park is Tallinn's railway station. The park is appropriate for a short relief from the crowded streets of the Old Town.

A nice park just outside the city walls, and has the only remaining moat to the castle. A good place to escape the city stress and enjoy the nature just of the city centre.

One of many green spaces around the old town walls. This one in particular has a lovely pond, being close to the train/bus station and the up and coming trendy area of Telliskivi. makes it quite a bust area. This was also the final destination of the most amazing free walking tour (see separate review).

We use this park for family walks. It's very big area to run and same time enjoy the view. For kids it may be interesting to watch or feed ( while animal protection group members don't see) ducks:))
