We visited Estonia in August and made the Tours to the Seals and Prangli Island with Prangli Travel. We highly recommend this tours. Everything was perfectly organized. We have been contacted per mail and then shortly before the pick up in Tallinn per sms - which was a really good service - and we had a lot of fun with... More

I had a most wonderful time on a seal watching tour arranged by Prangli Travel. I learned so many interesting facts about seals, nature and history of small islands we passed by on our trip. The boat ride was fun and even in spite of the fact that we saw less seals than usually can be seen, it was a... More

Prangli island is quite small (around 130 inhabitants living in 3 small villages), but it makes the island charming. It's a great place to spend one or two days: hiking around the island and along beaches, swim in the Baltic Sea (water is maybe colder than in Tallinn, Haapsalu or Parnu, but is much cleaner!), rest in almost deserted beaches... We went with my husband to Prangli Island by using Pangli Travel. It was good organised day. There was enough to do all the day. Excursion was by truck around the island. Seating was in a boxcar. It was very fan. Lunch was small and quick. After excursion there was theatrical show of period when local people sell vodka to... More

We had an excellent half day tour visiting a variety of places related to the sad days when Estonia was occupied by the Soviet Union - including an abandoned airbase, the television tower, the outdoor stage where people assembled as the USSR broke up. All explained much better than I can by our guide, Annika. It was a unique experience... More

Our day tour to the husky farm was magical- snow, pets everywhere (huskies, malamutes, horses, cat; all of which the kids loved), a detailed tour of the dogs, a short but breathtaking trip on the dog sled- silence except for the breath of the dogs and crunch of the snow, all followed by homemade sweets and fruit tea in the... Carmen had a tough task on her hands! We were due to go on a husky ride but with no snow anywhere in Estonia we opted for the Lahemaa National Park day trip. Early morning rain tried to dampem our spirits at the Jagala waterfall but by the time we have reached the Altja fishing village the rain was gone... More

A sea trip of about an hour gets you to a place that time seems to have by passed. The island is out of this world. Peaceful and quiet, but small enough to do in a day. To camp over night would take the visitor to another place.....and the history and museum all help to make the trip worth while.

An hour ferry ride not to far from Tallinn takes you to a small natural world of forrests, a church, local school, museum, community centre, souvenir shop, historical cemetery - what an island offers and needs, ah and a gas tube (!) and many other little unexpected sights. One wishes to just stay longer than only for a day. Carmen... More
