About
This small Baltic city has the Medieval Old Town at its heart: an area of cobblestone streets, gabled houses, churches, and squares all in one compact space. Other regions of the city reflect different ages, from the romantic, Tsarist-era Kadriorg Park to the unforgettable, early 20th-century wooden house district of Kalamaja. We offer walking tours in the old town or a vehicle supported sightseeing tour to Kadriorg Palace or an extension to discover the super trendy Telliskivi. Join the following tours in Tallinn-Tallinn Old Town Walking Tour, Everything Tallinn, Tallinn Old Town and Kalamaja Tour, Tallinn with Kids Tour, Tallinn Jewish History Tour, Tallinn Segway Food Tour, Tallinn: Street art tour in Telliskivi, Tallinn: Sauna Culture and Brewery Tour.

My granddaughter and I took the two-hour walking tour of the Jewish ghetto. Our guide was Elizabeta, whose detailed and lively account of the history of the Jews in Venice kept us interested the whole time. We learned a lot, saw a lot, and came away with a solid appreciation for what people have had to endure for centuries.

Did the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia tour. This was one of the best tours I've done in Europe, we had an amazing guide and it really was a small group (me and one other person). Our guide spoke great English was very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the Mosques which as a non Muslim I would have felt unsure how to approach without a guide. This was a fantastic experience.

Tallinn's old town is a maze, full of small courtyards and backstreets. You need a guide to see it properly. Stan was funny, engaging, knowledgeable about the history, and showed me a side of the city I would not have been able to discover alone.

Myself and my team had a walking tour of Tallinn Old Town with Stan from Walks in Europe. Not only he was very knowledgeable about the history and sights - his manner of delivering the stories was extremely engaging, and he was very fun to hang around with! Stan took us to places that I’ve never ever been to, despite having visited Tallinn ~20 times before this tour, introduced us to amazing local craftsmen, and shared more valuable contacts. He was friendly, professional, and flexible to accommodate our requests. I do HIGHLY recommend Walks in Europe and Stan!

We started by driving to the memorial where the Koolga Concentration Camp was located. Our guide Jolene explained the WWII history in Estonia as it related to the Jewish people there and brought there. We visited the synagogue, the Jewish cemetery, and the now-abandoned prison where Tallinn’s Jews were executed by the Germans when they invaded Estonia in WWII. After that we went to the old town to visit the streets where significant numbers of Jews lived pre-WWII, as well as other historical spots. Jolene provide an interesting history overview. Very nice tour.

My wife and I have enjoyed guides from Walks In Europe in Tallinn, Wroclaw, Istanbul and now Helsinki. The ease of the process in requesting a guide is unparalleled. The deep knowledge and respect for the cultures revealed is of the highest quality.
We will always do a tour with them if they offer them in any city to which we travel.

My experience with them is bad. Yesterday they confirmed the tour schedule, and today, when I asked if we can join only part of the tour, because of three tired kids, they say that they don't know th exact timing etc.etc. Lie lie lie.. Don't step the same trouble I did. And no refund is offered.. Etc etc. Fraud and liе, shame on them.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. I'm very sorry to hear about your disappointing experience, and I appreciate the chance to address this. I understand that joining only part of the tour seemed like a necessary adjustment given your circumstances with tired children. However, due to the structured nature of our tours, which start with a strict 10-minute grace period and are fully booked, our ability to accommodate such requests is extremely limited. We strive to keep our tours organized and on schedule to ensure that all participants have the best possible experience. Additionally, as stated clearly in our tour descriptions, it is not possible to join the tour after it has started. This policy is in place to minimize disruptions and to respect the experience of all guests. I apologize if this was not communicated effectively at the time of your booking. Regarding the issues of refunds and rescheduling, because our tours are fully booked, we're currently unable to offer rescheduling options. Our refund policy is also based on these constraints and is detailed in our terms of service. I regret any inconvenience this may have caused and the frustration it brought about.

We were in Tallinn on August 1, traveling via the Regal Princess. Tuli, our guide, met us at the dock right on time. She spoke very good English, and while she took us to see the main tourist highlights, she was also able to accommodate a couple of off the beaten path requests. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations for lunch. We would love to visit Tallinn again!

My mom and I took a private Tallinn Jewish History Tour when we were visiting Tallinn on our Baltics cruise. While we wanted to see the Old Town, we were most interested in its Jewish life and history. Our very knowledgeable and wonderful guide took us to the new synagogue, the cemetery, and then to Old Town. The older synagogue was closed when we were there. We learned a lot about the history of Jewish life in Tallinn and then enjoyed exploring the Old town and its highlights. I would recommend this tour! If you book it, be sure to clarify that you will be picked up in a car. There was some confusion about this and we ended up having to take a taxi to travel around. The pier or dock is far enough from the town that you cannot walk.
