My groupmates and I decided to visit Tallinn on the weekend. It was the first time for me being in Tallinn and Estonia. Attending this tour was just a godsend for us, because firstly, it was free, and secondly, our guide Dominic spoke English perfectly, so we all understood everything he was telling us about. His manner of speech is very endearing, and I was interested in listening to him from the beginning to the end of our tour. He was ready to answer any of our questions from where a particular building is located to where is the best place to buy souvenirs.

I can definitely recommend this tour, because Tallinn is a very beautiful city, that differs a bit from other cities in Europe, combining both cultural and historical heritage, as well as modern demonstration of creativity, art and hospitality.

Thank you for such a good introduction to Tallinn :)

This tour is in our top 3 out of the whole Europe. The guide was very informative, but kept it very fun, making the whole group laugh, rather than feel like in a 2 hour lecture. We recommend this tour if you have 2 free hours out of your trip - you will see the top sights as well as some hidden gems, that might be difficult to find on your own, so don't forget to take your camera. Jonas from Iceland - YOU ROCK! ❤️

In a visit to Tallin we were so lucky to join a 2 hour walking tour from the Tourist Information office in the old town. Our guide was Kadria and what a fabulous guide she was - funny, informative and attentive. She was just delightful. We were given lots of snippets of information and history and we would highly recommend as a must do activity when visiting. Just a donation towards her time - it was so good we willingly paid.

Taking this tour was a great opportunity to learn about the city of Tallinn and the history of Estonia. Our guide Dominic was nice and explained everything clearly.
The tour will take you to the main attractions of the Old Town in around 2 hours, so it's not too heavy, but you also learn a lot. Definitely worth it!

We had a blast! Jonas is a fantastic tour guide, possibly the best one I've ever had. The way he delivered the history of the city and the stories surrounding it was really entertaining, interesting, and with a great tempo. His great sense of humor, his own personal story, and experience as a foreigner who settled down in Tallinn added a lot to it. Totally recommended, thank you Jonas!

We had a great tour with Dominic. A Brit who lives in Tallinn, he started off by telling us about the potted history of Tallinn (and Estonia) before taking us on a circuit of the Old Town. Not only did he point out key locations to revisit when we had time, be he also took us to some great viewpoints (it really is the city of 1000 great views) and little shortcuts. The tour was a shade over 2 hours and full of information for the casual visitor or those who wanted to know more. At the end of the tour, he took questions and made suggestions for other places to visit and what to and drink. A word of warning - there are many steps, some hills and uneven surfaces on this tour. You need to have some level of fitness to get the most of the tour.

A word to the people who go on this tour or on any other ‘free’ tour in a city you’re visiting. PAY/TIP YOUR GUIDES. Do not come on a tour, follow the guide for two hours, ask a million questions along the way then just walk off at the end of the tour. If you can afford to travel to another city as a tourist, you can afford to give your guide at least a few Euros as thanks for the effort they’ve put in. They have helped you learn more about the city and improved your visit. Do the right thing!

Vivian is all you want from a tour guide. Funny, intelligent, knowledgeable, personable and engaging!
On our free tour, she totally exceeded our expectations. She gave us lots of insights and tips to make our Tallinn experience memorable and unique. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide!
Her passion for people allowed us to feel like we were amongst a friend after 10min into the tour.
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED! 5*

I thoroughly enjoyed learning about Estonia from Kadri on Sunday, 3 July, on the Tallinn in a Nutshell. She is knowledgeable with fantastic English. She shared her own family's experiences under Soviet occupation, and Kadri gave a sense of the role of ethnic Russians in Estonia (older and younger), Kadri discussed both Estonian history and how Estonia and Tallinn are evolving.

Kadri had a good sense of timing.

One thing that EstAdventures should consider is using the high-end sound system used by Yellow Umbrella Walking Tours in Belfast and Dublin. The headsets are cheap, but the system is not. (Most people can use their ownwired headsets.) They are not cheap, but they have 2 huge advantages:

1. Guide does not need to raise voice.

2. You can start speaking at a stop/giving information before everyone in group has arrived. This greatly speeds the tour as slower walkers can hear the background information as they catch up with the group.

Our tour guide Kadri was wonderful. With her lively descriptions of Estonia and especially Tallinn, she captivated everyone on the tour. Kadri has an incredibly strong charisma and spoke clearly in perfect English. She answered all questions that arose in detail and patiently. I can only recommend all visitors to Tallinn to book this city tour led by Kadri.
