Edu was a very knowledgeable, congenial, humorous guide. He made our trek through the forest and bogs a fascinating learning experience. / Bog walking can be squishy so it's fun and brings out the child in you. It feels like slogging over a wet dream foam mattress. Its not difficult though and the shoes provided fit well. / If you're... More

We visited Soomaa this March with hope to catch a well-known flood in Soomaa. But we have found the new experience of canoeing under the snow )) It was really great experience! The weather like in winter time made this trip an extraordinary. Spring colours of the sky, thin ice on the river whick could be cracked by canoe, great... More

We recently visited Soomaa National Park to take part in a wilderness tour. We paid to be picked up in Parnu which is a great idea for those without transport. We joined two other travellers and our guide to walk through the bog. Edu, our guide was great fun and very informative. The walk is interesting and some of the... More

We chose the guided day tour from Parnu (70 euros each) and feel it was worth the money. Aivar our guide was very friendly, spoke excellent English and was able to provide us with plenty of knowledge of the area, nature and Estonia in general. Started off with a walk across the large bog, which was a very different yet... More

We visited Soomaa National Park in August 2014 and decided to do the guided tour in order to have the maximum experience in just one day. The €50 price included the 6-hour walking and canoeing tour and a lunch (sandwiches, cake and juice - all homemade and delicious!). The bogs were incredible and such a unique form of nature to... Certainly the trip would be great, just a shame that the contact doesn't work! It's best to call from a Estonian phone number. Foreign phone numbers are ignored and they also do not reply mails! I'm very disappointed!

This is a terrific 3-day self-guided trip. We did it with our three children aged 12, 12 and 14 and we all loved it. Day 1 is a 45km cycle through back roads and picturesque countryside. The cycling is flat and easy and the bikes supplied are comfortable and well maintained. We stopped to swim in the Parnu river and... More

Our self-guided tour through Soomaa national park managed by Aivar Ruukel and his crew from soomaa.com was a great nature experience with a canoe trip on both Lemmjögi and Raunda jögi, two quiet rivers through the national park, all equipment is provided - and we got a comprehensive introduction in the history of the park, its wild life and the... We took the one day guided tour for 50 euro per person, Algis our guide was priceless, unbelievably knowledgeable and willing to share. The day started with a movie at the exhibition center that explained the parks ecosystem and it's floorings, after that we went on a canoe trip, and this is where Algis made it worth the money, as...
