I will not go into details regarding the Riisa Trail in Soomaa National Park, as it is widely considered a highlight of this park and one will go there anyway. To sum up the separate review regarding the Riisa Trail - we found it pretty...More

We walked the 4.8 Km Riisa study trail. It is a fantastic "floating" boardwalk loop trail that takes you a little way into the bog. It is an utterly amazing environment. There are a few benches along the way to sit down and just drink...More

Really lovely place(s) .... large park area (forests and bogs) that cater for the walker / visitor very well. Good tracks/paths, duckboard walks across bogs. Wildlife (birds and mammals) quite superb, AND QUIET, very few people around.

Actually it was a surprise to me that you can drink that water there. We were at Hüpassaare and there are 2 lakes where you can swim. Great! Koordinaadid Long-Lat WGS 84 x:25.271756 y:58.530385

Another national park in Estonia, worth to visit - good aquantaince with the northern untouched flora and fauna, swamps and little eyes of lakes.

We visited Soomaa National Park independently and done a trail. Almost untouched nature, fantastic flooded meadows, forests and impressive bogs. In summer just be aware if you are allergic to insect bites.
