They told us it was an easy trip down the river. But the river was low and no boats should be on the water for safty. We have done many many trips in ohter countries. Response from JuozapasZ, Manager at Kayak Rental in Vilnius

Hi Gary, Are you sure you had a tour with us? Did you go with a red bus and you booked your tour through +37062739146? Because we never bring people on Vilnelė river if the water is too low. Please check where you have booked the tour and leave your review there. Because now your review does not have a point as you didn't have it with us.

To summarize I would recommend (at least the Voke road) as an ideal family or even solo experience if you are staying in Lithuania or Vilnius for a few days and want to do something different. (Just check the weather day or two before, I got lucky, but you can't trust the forecast in this country).…

It’s a perfect way to try kayak for the first time. The tour nicely combines nature and the city area. Definitely worth time and money.

Kayaking on Neris river at night is a great way to celebrate birthday. We were a group of 10 people and enjoyed kayaking during the night. Definitely recommended and I hope I will do it again some day!
