Our feet were aching from all the walking (cobblestones!) and climbing (stairs), and we decided to take a day off. Asked the Hotel front desk about tour buses, and from the many presented to us, decided to try this one. We wanted to go to the KGB Museum, and since that was further away, this kind of bus was perfect. The front desk person checked the times, and stops, and there was one right around the corner from us. He told us to watch for the bus with the daisies on it.

The stop closest to us was right next to St. Anne's Church, and when we got there, so many large tourist groups were milling about and taking photos, that we got caught up in this traffic. So, we were almost at the stop, when the bus driver assistant saw us, and stopped right in the middle of the tourist groups to pick us up. The Hotel had notified them that we were coming.

We paid 9 euros each for full day travel. Our plan was to first stay on the bus for a full loop, and then, we would get off where we wanted. This bus goes all through the most important and interesting parts of Vilnius. It does have set stops, but if no one is waiting, or no one wants to get off, they just drive on. They will let you off where you want, as long as its on their route. The back of the bus is open air, but the day we went it was chilly, so everyone sat inside.

No one really explains things on this bus, because it just is not a Tour, it's transportation only. But, you can ask all the questions you want, and they are very helpful. I don't know how many languages the assistant speaks, but she managed to answer questions (or point tourists in the right direction) in at least five languages.

We did two loops, first sitting on one side of the bus, then the other. The route really pretty much covers everything of interest. Then, we got off at the KGB Museum. We knew that the bus would be back about 3 hours later, but we like to spend lots of time in Museums, and also, we wanted to eat lunch.

We saw many people hop on and hop off during the day. They give you a very accurate schedule of where they will be when, and the entire system works smoothly. I really recommend this concept as it gives you the freedom to see more or less of what is of interest to you.

The bus ride was really comfortable with interesting routes and a good audio guide narration. I had the tour with my family, but I would suggest it/go on it with some foreign friends, as I, a local, even heard a lot of new facts going around town. Overall, I think its a really informative and comfortable tour, which is perfect if you are traveling alone or with family and friends.

There both good and not so good points to this company and their tours.

Good points.
Great audio with proper headphones and interesting commentary.
They provide a schedule detailing what time each bus will be at each stop.
Buses weren't crowded
Buses were of a high standard.

Not so good
There's not a lot to see and you could walk most of the main sights yourself.
It's not your typical hop on, hop off your with buses coming every 20 minutes. There's just one bus on each colour line so if you get off, there's not another bus for an hour.
The bus stops for 10 minutes at one stop where there's nothing really to see except a church. There's not even a place to buy a drink. I found this odd.

I'm not convinced it was good value, and I'm glad I didn't purchase the 48 hour option. I ended up walking all the main sites after the bus trip.

The bus is much smaller in the winter and very few tourists, so as we were only 3 the driver put the audio on loudspeaker and added some personal comments along the way. Very good details and appreciate paying cheaper if you DON'T hop on hop off! (12€ as opposed to 15€)
The driver was very nice and showed us several extras. Then he waited 15mins at Peter and pauls church to allow for photos inside this beautiful building. Back to the cathedral after about 1.5hrs

This is especially good if you are staying in the city camping site as the bus leaves from there. And you can get the same bus back to the camp.

Audio was very good and qualitative, the route is very well designed. The bus is impressive: big, nice design and high. I recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see Vilnius and learn it's history at an affordable price. The only small minus was that on our tour were poor traffic conditions and the weather was not very good. Recommend it!
