Great for Sunset

Nice view over the whole city especially in the evening during sun set! Parking is available on the over side of the river.

Climbed up the uneven surface. Funicular is not running because it is not safe right now. The one side of the hill is partially collapsed. Views from the top and from the castle are beautiful.

you have to climb to get to the top, but the view over the city is spectacular, the entrance to the tower itself costs 5 euro

It's a bit of a climb to the top, but the reward is magnificent. It's like the border between the new and the old city.

Excellent view of the city, but the pavement to go up there is not well constructed. There is a lift under construction, but it was not clear when it will be ready. The place outside the tower offer 360 degree reviews of the city and it is definitely worth visiting.

On the top of the Hill is the tower. That's the best viewpoint in Vilnius, all the city is seen from there very clearly

Best to go when is nice weather like this weekend. Funicular is out of order so a steep walk up but only takes about 10 minutes. Gorgeous view of the old town. I skipped the small museum inside the tower itself as it's €5 (but included in the Vilnius card if you have it).

A nice way to spend half an hour or so, offers expansive views of the city and the tower is only 5 euros a person to enter. Went when the weather was sunny which I suspect is the best time to do it. On top of a really steep hill though, so make sure you're feeling up for a bit... More
