It's like a permanent exhibition in street. Every work is like a small separate masterpiece and you can see indication to what artist it was dedicated in the list next on the wall.

It contains art works on the walls that pay tribute to authors not necessarily of Lithuanian origin but who had anything to do with Lithuania...like Thomas Harris whose character Hannibal Lector was Lithuanian...one of the cooler spots in old town

This is a unique street that goes on and on with mementos of famous Lithuanian writers as well as international writers who ever wrote, visited, or had something to say about the country.

The art works are fixed to the walls of this street. They are generally small in size, but many are very brightly coloured. My guide could not say how or why the display had been created. I would describe the majority of creations as pretty and indicative of a still developing style and technique.

Sometimes you happen on displays or designs that appear from nowhere. This is one you just come across as you walk around the streets in Vilnius.

Our Hotel is almost around the corner, and the front desk person recommended this street/alley for its uniqueness. When we entered it, the first thing we saw is lots of graffiti, but if you wander past that, you come to walls with all sorts of small artworks celebrating and commemorating literature writers, who have links with Lithuania. The project was... More

Brings recent artwork to the streets and gives artists an interesting showcase. Just another example of old meeting new in Vilnius in a terrific way.

It was a unexpected delight. We just happened to walk down this street, pure serendipity. We are artsy-fartsy folks so this was a delightful experience.

Small "art" pieces attached to the walls. I think it is apprecaited more by the locals. The most famous piece is a mould of theeth.
