A good idea for many cities!

It's down a small street (more like an alley). Some of the artwork is quite interesting, but others are hard to see.

Literature geeks of Lithuania unite. On the outer walls of a side street’s building, one can find a multi-media ode to authors. Each “piece” symbolizes and memorializes an author from the country.

it is an open gallery hidden in the city in which both local and tourists are free to enjoy. artworks are hanged on the wall irregularly and make the street "energetic", there are no descriptions on every artworks and makes people curious the stories behind :)

It was actually a very good idea to make a street an "outdoor art gallery" if we can call it that. Small pieces of artwork is plastered to the walls along the literati street. It takes relatively short time to walk by, but such a thing surely attract potential customers to the hidden cafes and entrepreneurs established in the area.... More

This little street is good for a leisurely stroll while looking at all of the various little bits of artwork on the walls of the houses. Whimsical and cute.

This street is a nice walk mostly because its narrowness and difference from the other old town street. Maybe some explanations would have been appropriate to fully understand the artwork here.

This was my favorite place in Vilnius. Why? Because its charm does not consist in antiquity, gold or religion: it is sheer imagination. A tribute to creativity.

Super poetic and interesting, not only for art lovers. It just livens your day up. "Street" or rather "wall" art dedicated to writers, translators and others connected to Lithuanian and world literature. It's almost like a street gallery..

You need a guide to eplain the meaning of the different artworks to make it understandable. There are funny stories behind them.

Writers, mostly Lithuanian, commemorated by artwork set into the walls of a street. Worth a walkthrough while visting Old City
