This tour was GREAT! We chose to take the guided SEGWAY tour (rather than just a simple rental) and we were very happy afterwards.
It was a little nerve wracking when I first tried the Segway, but the owner gave us lots of instruction and joined us for the first portion of the tour until he knew we were comfortable operating the segways (not to mention competent on them as he didn't want any damage done to them of course). The Segways were so much fun. They are very intuitive and user-friendly, and we were able to have the advantages of a guided walking tour (where you can go at your pace and interact with a guide) while having the ability to cover way more ground. The guide was knowledgeable as well.
I would definitely recommend this tour, especially for those who may not be able to walk for several miles and experience the city on foot. Do not be intimidated by the Segways, you get the hang of it in less than a minute!

BeRt and I cruised down the cobbled streets of old town Vilnius (the entire Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site) and other parts of the city on our rented segways (60 lt/hr from Super Segways). We had the option of hiring a guide but chose to self-ride equipped with a map and a camera. We went from sight to sight on the coolest ride in the 21st century. With these Segway, we can choose to ride in the street, or in the clearly marked bike lanes or on the sidewalk etc whenever we want and using whatever feels the safest for the situation.
Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania is a quintessential European city which abounds with picturesque streets and spectacular churches. The city is filled with beautiful parks, and majestic buildings standing proudly atop steep, hilly streets. We segwayed to the Hill of Three Crosses, the Gates of Dawn and the most famous church – Cathedral Basillica which is a stunning example of classical architecture.
Distances between places are generally short in Vilnius, so the best way to get to know Vilnius is to rent a Segway from Super Segways and ride around it at leisure and experience it in all its charm.

We booked 4 segways from www.supersegway.com (they have a shop) and had AWESOME fun over the 2 hours we had them.
They have a map with a couple of routes you can do, you can do both of them in a 2 hour period.
I recommend 2 hours rather than 1.
Takes about 5 mins to get used to Segways, then they become very natural.
Vilnius itself is good for drinking and eating. Segway riding makes it fun!

We took segways not so much for sightseeing, but more for fun and an alternative perspective on Vilnius. And it was really fun, as expected!!
We went riding for one hour along bike ways without a guided tour.
All of us were novices, and our segways had a speed limit for the first half an hour. And we didn't know that, and feeling almost professional Segway riders after 30 min. we're wondering what was holding us back from speeding up. Then a girl from the service came and turned the limit off, and there we understood that it was not as safe as it seemed. A friend of mine fell off while maneuvering, but without anything serious. So, be careful and if you're not experienced - don't think too much of yourself on a Segway.
Then, in the Cathedral square, a friend of mine almost collided with a kid - the kid suddenly started running across the way without looking. It can happen to a bike or skateboard as well, so just beware of kids.
All in all, it was good, a fun way to vary your stay in Vilnius.

I'm sorry to report we had a multitude of problems with them--first, even though we reconfirmed our reservation in person the day before, when we arrived the next day, they didn't have our segways ready. They promised a BIG discount if we would arrive later in the day after they got more from another company. We did come back, guess what at the end of the tour--no discount. Their excuse was that we came back "late." Since the tour was with a guide, that was not our fault--we followed her. Also, they were NOT interested in safety. Two of the members of our group were not segway riders, and they spent barely any time in training with them--not good, when you are going out over lots of bumps. Also--no helmets!!! First time I've ever experienced that. Our guide was REALLY great though, a real sweetheart.

This tour was so much fun. We were touring around the city, fast and smoothly. We got to see several interesting locations and historical sites. Our guide was great and told us the history about Vilnius. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a great time with Robertas and Yolanda of Super Segway, undertaking a guided Segway tour of Vilnius.
The tour was easy to arrange from the UK in advance, and Super Segway were very helpful and welcoming on arrival.
We were Segway novices, but the units were easy to master, and the cycle routes in Vilnius made for an easy 1.5 journey through the city.
Having tried and failed on many occasions to take our 13-year old on a Segway experience in the UK (which appears commonly to discourage Segway use under the age of 16 - for reasons which I cannot fathom: they are easy and safe to use), it was a pleasure to spend such a fun time seeing such a beautiful city with such informative guidance.
Thoroughly recommended.

Great way to explore the city! We got a quick "how-to-use" since we never had used it before, and it was quite easy. They also gave us some info about what not to do. It was super fun! But be careful, small pavements and holes in the ground can make it dangerous. Also be aware of traffic.

We were in holidays with my girl friend, and we wanted to have a tour of the city in Segway. The price is very affordable, and the team is very nice. The guy gave us lot of tips about the city, and was very flexible.
