This was nothing I was that interested in doing until I did it! Mad Motors park is only about 15 minutes outside Vilnius center. (I think it was only around 10 euros to get there by taxi). We were greeted warmly and given lots of time to learn how to operate the excavator (there is always a two-way radio) before we set off on our "chores". It was so much fun, especially coming down the "steep" embankment using the boom (long arm) for support. Then you dig a hole and in the end try to move a basket ball with the intricate movements you have mastered to score a goal! I have never done anything like this, but even I, (definitely not a "motor guy") managed it. We were informed that 60% of their clientele were women. This is a great activity for couples, friends, or small groups. Very professional and friendly. You even get a diploma. I will never again look at a large digging machine without thinking - I can do that! Thank you!!!
