Cute sculpture and as your walk around Klaipeda you will come across many sculptures. This was the smallest once I saw and it is cute. Seek it out!

This extremely small (17 cm or 6.75 inches tall or so) bronze statue of a mouse sits on a low wall surrounding a small park , I believe it is on the corner of Kalviy gatve (street) and Mesininky gatve (street). Rumor has it if you whisper your wish into his ear and Turn your thoughts into words". Kind of a fun little thing to do. One should also know that the City of Klaipeda came up with a brilliant idea to help you explore and see the city by creating a " scavenger type hunt" (We actually saw 3 Scandinavian groups- probably a business building exercise, racing around the city in competition). Since we had disembarked from the Norwegian Cruise ship we started at the "Swing-Bridge" (which has the "Black Ghost" statue with lantern, Theater Square with the sculpture/ statue of Anna (when we were there, they were having a sale with booths of artisans), the Magical Mouse, the Dragon , the Sailboat- Meridianas, The Mermaid (hard to find as it was below a bridge and down some steps), and the Warehouse among other points of interest along the scavenger route. Fun to locate these while following a map.…
