Pay the small entrance fee and explore the cellars below and climb the tower for a good view over the city. This is supposed to be the best museum in Kaunas,

More than the museum tour inside, I liked the large spacious Square and the building itself and the architecture. The tower top view of the city is amazing. You can gain lot of historical knowledge from the exhibits and the guides.

We had a very good guide in the building of historical value. We got a lot of explanations about history. Climbing the Town Hall Tower was a beautiful event. The tower has a beautiful view of the city.

Enjoyed a guided tour around the upper parts of the building, it’s lovely and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. You explore the cellar at your own leisure, a quick visit but a worthwhile one

Did not go inside, but outside - a big yard surrounded by shops and cafes. Nice place to sit down, though not a lot of benches. Seen few weddings arriving to hall, so it was nice view ;)

We were a bit disappointed by this museum. Not everything is easily and immediately enjoyable. Maybe a guide is necessary.

The city museum is located in a striking white former church in the centre of the Old Town Square. The exhibitions are of some interest and well presented. The White Room, used for formal occasions and weddings is very memorable. 10 out of 10 for...More

We had a couple of very knowledgeable guides take us through different parts of the museum, but I thought it was lacking when it actually came to talking about the history of Kaunas. You start upstairs with a tour of a couple of grand rooms,...More
