Love my city's old town, nice historic monuments. All long pedestrian street is perfect for all day walks and chilling in restaurants.

Very interesting walk around the old part of Kaunas. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole town on what was a snap visit. Much care has gone into preservation. Sitting with a beer in the square watching the world go by was terrific.

It is quite a nice place but smaller than expected. It is however highly recommendable. Many restaurants, cafes ect. Also many nice old churches and a few museums.

A lot of good places to eat and drink, and there is a good vibe around the old town. A lot of things are happening often, and there are plenty of people.

Building are ruined, not bad for Kaunas standards but I think there's no need to visit it. Vilnius is 1000 times better

We cycled round the old town amongst the cobbled streets and down by the river. We found the place very interesting and clean. We had three meals during our stay and all were good value.

Felt like I was in an Old Western movie, complete with very tough characters. Fascinating visit, but not sure I'd go back.
