The best part of this zoo are animal keepers. They are all young friendly people that love animals and tell you so many interesting facts about them. You think you know a lot about whatever animal, but you don't.
From the animals, guinea pigs were introverted due to covid time and no contact with people, and it was not possible to pet bears, tigers and lions, due to obvious reasons. But all the other animals that could be pet were so fluffy and friendly! I have created a memory by petting mama kangaroo that had a baby kangaroo next to her.
Most of the cafés at the zoo were closed at the beginning of May, probably it was not the season yet. I didn't like the miniatures of the buildings that are the park at the zoo much, but I think that the kids will love them.

Nice place for one hour, its not for whole day trip. Its good to visit this place directly from tatralandia aquapark, the price is 5 euro for person in this case.

The food was terrible but it was not the main goal of our trip. The animals look healthy and guys care about them.

You take your kids to see animals but they don't see the conditions the animals are kept in, comparing with UK zoo's standards this is a step back to the 1800s zoo animals in confined conditions ,three tigers pacing back to too continually, the tiger I was watching was panting heavily there was no site of a water bowl ,so the tiger has immersed itself In a dirty pool covered in algae and starts drinking the water we saw around the park is contaminated from the aqua park next door , it was everywhere cramped conditions and paddocks made up from waste materials , you can see bricks and tiles embedded in the tigers walk routes. The two brown bears ,I wonder if they were going to tie a chain on their ankles and make them dance. As far as our two boys 7 and 10 they had fun which is why parents take their children in them , my wife and I were shocked at the conditions.

Do not visit this place. The animals have horrible conditions, small space, no shadow. For me is safety also big question. Children can see animals in a short distance, but it is high price for poor lions and tigers and bears. Please, do not support this

Commercial abuse of animals! No attempt to create any type of natural habitat. Terrible queuing everywhere. Not an appropriate event for a child to learn about animals and nature! This place seems to be created only to explore tourists and maximize profit at any cost!

You can pet and touch a bear cub or lion. Almost all the animals can be touched. It sounds exciting - but it's wrong.
The area for the horses, sheeps, goats and such is spacious and great.
The area of the lion and tiger is too small.
The children enjoyed the experience, but I felt bad for the prey enimals. They are not meant to have strange humans at close contact all day long. It felt like abuse (although it was not meant to be).
So - no.

Animals here live in terrible conditions and staff looked pretty unbothered about it. It’s truly heart breaking to see monkeys having smaller area than squirells. Most of the bigger animals arent even in a group or couple. The best you can do is avoid this place (unless you can donate tons on money to reconstruct the WHOLE area).

Very different in the direct contact with the animals. Being close to lion and tiger Cubs got the children quite excited. The highlight was the baby bears who were very playful and running all around us in their cage.
The lines for tickets and the main attractions were a bit long and without shade.

Ciao!
