Very nice historical statue facing the Danube river. Very beautiful. It's also beside a shopping center (eurovea) so you can walk along the river or go shopping! A nice simple scene .

Milan Rastislav Stefanik Statue and Square, next to a Danube river. It is nice, but dont expect anything else than a statue. You can have a nice walk along the river.

What an impressive statue and what away to commemorate this man. The statue sits on the banks of the Danube close to the Eurovea shopping centre. It is huge statue of the man. Worth a visit.

If you go to the new Opera House, you can't miss it. It is in front of the shopping center and New Opera House, very near to the Danube river.

This square was located near our hotel and overlooked a park on the banks of the Danube in Bratislava that is frequented by locals and their children. One of the most impressive statues on the square commemorates General Stevanki who served as Vice-Chairman of the Czecho-Solvakian National Council and as its first minister of war. The bronze lion holds the coat of arms of Czechoslovakia and one pylon has a bronze reproduction of the Czechoslovak Declaration of Independence of May 30, 1918. During World War I, he was a General of the French Army as well as the Minister of War for Czechoslovak. The statue faces the Danube and is located near the right bank of the Danube. When we were there, families were enjoying the beautiful day and their children were playing and having a good time on the grassy area near the statue. Other young adults huddled together on the steps leading to the statue. This is an ideal place for people watching or enjoying a walk along the Danube.

A very beautiful monument, to which its location next to the river gives another magic.
It is very easy to get to since it is close to the Eurovea shopping center and it is nice to spend a few hours sitting by the river.
