Not as impressive as one would have expected. The gardens behind the palace were tired to say the least. We passed here on our way to Slavin monument but would not recommend a visit solely to see the palace.

Not much to do here but grab a look and take that mandatory selfie. It is a handsome building with lovely open gardens and grounds to the rear, but not open to the public. Too bad some tours do not exist.

Just recently went to the palace and the outside fountain was switched off. However we saw the changing of the guard. Moreover the palace gardens were open to the public.

The President lives at this palace, not royalty, so everything is a little more low key here. While you can't get access inside, you can enjoy the gardens located behind the palace which are open to the public. There you'll find green space, fountains (see...More

Situated in the heart of the city, this is where the president of Slovakia resides. It's a gated property that has a fountain at the front courtyard and a very beautiful garden at the back. In my opinion, the rear view of the palace is...More

This beautiful building is appropriate for Slovakia's President. The solemn noon Changing of the Guard ceremony with the bright traditional uniforms and highly synchronized movements symbolizes the respect for the National Residence. Spending some time behind the palace in the well tended garden with open...More

Gorgeous Palace and Gardens with the fountain at the front (a steel globe with engraved doves) and a more fun one in the gardens at the side. I loved it with all the flags and it was just opposite from the Old Town. I didn't...More

I first saw it riding the bus from the train station to my hotel. It is located at a major street and can be easily seen and reached. Note that this attraction is outside of the historic center, but can be easily reached within 5-10...More
