We used Bike Bratislava for our travels in Slovakia and Austria last month and I would highly recommend them.
I initially dealt with Ladislav at Bike Bratislava who helped me to form my arrangements for our Bike hire. We wanted the bikes delivered to us in Vienna, and our luggage taken to our hotel in Bratislava where we would return the bikes.
Ladislav was clear, helpful and flexible throughout my email correspondence with him. He made the arrangements much easier to complete and I am very grateful for that.
A couple of days before we were due to have the bikes delivered we communicated with Michal of Bike Bratislava to confirm the plans. Again, Michal was very helpful and straight forward. We asked for the bikes to be delivered to us before 8am to enable us to get out of Vienna early morning. That meant an early start for Michal coming from Bratislava, but he was there early. Michal was very pleasant and did a great job explaining information, taking payment and giving advice. We returned the bikes to Bike Bratislava at their premises which are really well located 1 minute from the Presidential Palace at the top of the Old Town. It was also about 500 meters from our hotel so really perfect for us!
Thanks Bike Bratislava. You made a big part of our holiday run super smoothly.

Found this place on google and got two very nice and quite new offroad bikes. 16 euros for the entire day, including helmet, pump, repair kit and a lock. 50 euros deposit and one member of the party needs to show photo ID.
Went across the river and turned left, and we found the most perfect bike tracks. No cars, just bikes, pedestrians and in-line skaters. Every so often there are cafees with cheap beer, soda and ice-cream, so you can have a rest. Ended up cykling quite far, and got to a small lake. Perfect for a cool-down, but halfway in we discocered it was a nudist lake.. We had bikinis on, and we weren't the obly ones, but just be aware!

I went to Bratislava by bike and just as I was getting ready for heading back to Vienna, I realized I had a flat tire. Luckily, BikeBratislava was just across the street from where I stayed and they helped me with everything. Even though they had no business interest in me whatsoever, I was attended very friendly in the most competent way possible. Some few minutes later, the guy from BikeBratislava had fixed my bike and I was ready to head back to Vienna. Thanks again :)

We rented two bikes for the trip to Devin, Schloss Hof, etc - probably should have done the tour they advertised but I didn't see it until late. Great communications before we got there, and the young man that helped us that day was Sam, and he was great as well - friendly, helpful, professional - couldn't ask for a better experience! Thanks much!

I had a great experience yesterday by renting 2 bikes with my girlfriend. Bike were in good condition and the employee that attended us was nice and communicative. Price was fine for the whole day and service was fast. We call at 9am to know if they had availability and they answer quickly the phone. Anyway is better to reserve in advance. Very recommendable, we will do it again. Thanks!

We went here based on reviews, and the guy working did not know much. Nor did they have many bikes to offer. He didn't seem sure about the pricing, and the bikes were all older mountain bikes. I think helmets were extra and many of the things they advertised (tandem bike, scooters) weren't available The experience was lousy.

Hello Sam, we are sorry to hear about your experience and we definitely don't recognize your described experience as the one we designed for this company. Can you please share the exact date when you have visited us so we can follow up with the proper staff to ensure this will not happen again? Rental of helmets are definitely included in the rental price as we are advising everywhere. Tandem bike is not being advertised since last year, so if you would reply to us where did you find it advertised, we will fix that as well. Scooters (Kick and moto) are available - they might have been booked on that day. We would like to hear back from you so we can address all of these issues you have raised. Thank you! Ladislav

Judging by the other very positive reviews it seems we struck a very bad day. Guide a uni student who knew v little history and was unprofessional... lost a group member (who'd fallen off!), was impatient with us, poor supervision and poor road instructions ... and road to Divin Castle is not that great for novice cyclists ... and bikes had no bells. It's a long trip! To top it off we got to the castle and we're told bluntly that we'd normally be given half an hour to look thru but it was closed for a festival! We were hungry and bought poor food at one of the takeaway stalls where the waiter was rude then took the ferry back. No hep given to those struggling getting bikes onto the boat. It was awful. We'd biked in London, France and Germany and this trip was on a completely different level. It was our worst tourist experience in the nine countries visited. Sorry guys. ..you need to do some serious quality assurance checks and staff development.

My 15 year old son and I rented bikes from Bike Bratislava and rode to Devin Castle. A fun, very manageable ride. The staff at Bike Bratislava was very helpful. A highlight of our trip.

I enjoy biking, but I am a casual rider. These guys have a great location along the bike path under the UFO tower. I rented on three different afternoons from them. A credit card or 80 euros is needed for deposit. Prices were good, 10 euros for a couple of hours or 16 for the day. I did some different rides which I really enjoyed as they are along the river on bike paths, I was not looking to ride on city streets. I went south one day to the Hungarian border. I went another afternoon into Austria and really enjoyed the village of Berg. Lots of history here that I found interesting. I also went to visit the bunkers of B-S-4 and 8 via bike, which was also very enjoyable. Their bikes are in good shape and you get everything you need.

We hired bikes and cycled to devin castle one day and to Vienna the next. These two excursions were definitely a highlight of our trip to Bratislava.
The cycle to devin castle could be enjoyed by anyone. Gorgeous cycle paths lead the way along flat plains to the beautiful scenery at devin castle. I believe this trip is around 26km in total but can be done at a relaxed and leisurely pace. Easy to navigate.
Day 2 we cycled around 85 km to Vienna. Again the route was largely off road and very flat along cycle paths that run parallel to the river Danube. We found navigating the Vienna end tricky as we did not have a map, and the distance from the Danube in Vienna to the city centre was longer than expected. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone active who enjoys a challenge- or anyone who is a keen cyclist.
The bikes were in excellent condition and pumps helmets and locks were included. Would recommend that you being sunscreen 👌🏻 and some snacks/plenty of water and the only clear rest stop is hainberg which is only around 20km from Bratislava.
