... he will bring you a lot of luck, if you touch his head. But be careful: Touching his nose might get girls pregnant. ^^

Simple but great idea. This strange guy. A worker crawling out of a drain. Fascinating because of its weirdness. I mean on the sidewalk just in a normal street. Makes a totally forgettable everyday experience of walking down a totally forgettable street unforgettable. Apparently they had to protect him because the poor little guy kept getting decapitated by passing traffic.... More

As you walk through the old town you come across this bronze statue in a manhole. Have to take a picture and rub his head for good luck.

I love to see street art, it adds to a city rather than the usual boring streets. Probably not worth a special trip but worth taking a look if you are in the area.

It's a cute little piece of street art surrounded by tourists. This city has more to offer than that. A walk past will suffice.

We went on free walking tour and were bought to this statue. The most famous man in Bratislava. However it has no history what so ever. I was slightly dissappointed with this but its a visit just for a pic.

What a delight! This understated (and somewhat underground) bronze sculpture can easily be missed—unless you trip over it. Yes, it is a tripping hazard. Čumil the Peeper is the brainchild of Viktor Hulík, created in 1997. He represents a smiling Communist worker who is either looking up skirts or reportedly saying to his government employer: I pretend to work, you... More
