This building is a bit boring compared to the sourrundings. You will find it just walking around downtown.

Located near Hlavne Namestie (the main square) in Old Town, this building now houses the city museum Not much to look at. Nice small courtyard.

To me it was not the greatest attraction although you may take a look and get a few nice pics. A good example of old town.

The old town hall, now Bratislava's city Museum, is located on one end of Hlavne namestie, the main square, in the center of the old town. 3 townhouses and a palace were combined to form the city hall. That's why its architecture varies. The city hall can be viewed from the main square and from the courtyard at the back.... More

If you have a guide, they will point this out. Nothing particularly outstanding about it, but worth noting if you're out strolling around.

The museum starts off in quite a confusing manner as the initial room is mainly Christian artefacts through time- not really what we were expecting from a city museum as the english interpretations are sometimes limited. Further on, the building is fascinating and the story of Bratislava is clearer. The tower offers a nice view of the old town square... More

This is really worth a visit, there is a lot to see. The theme of the museum is the town itself, and there is a lot about the people, the politics, the societies, education, politics, printing, money, art and etc. We got a combined ticket (for a whole euro extra) to include the Museum of Interior Rooms and the Wine... I really enjoyed this museum because it was in a delightfully historical building, the artefacts were displayed simply and they were well selected so there was not information overload. The tower was out of bounds when I visited but it was still worth the entry fee.
