A lovely building steeped in history, with a cannon ball still embedded in the wall. There was an exhibition on the history of the area when we visited. The cost of 3 Euros was well worth the entrance fee. Climbed the tower which had a great view of the surrounding city.

Attractive old building especially when illuminated at night, though entrance gates closed around 9pm.

A most interesting visit providing an insight of Old town Bratislava over the years. The architecture of the building with the surrounding squares and spires is interesting and a good photo opportunity awaits one at the top, from the tower. Many well-displayed artifacts covering diverse topics regarding the ways and life of the people in bygone days.

Former town hall, armoury and prison. Still in great condition. You can get good views and photo ops from the tower

4 euros to get in, including the tower which gives good views. Staff don't speak English but were friendly enough.

A focal point of any tour of the Old Town. Its now mostly a museum and the building itself is beautiful and well worth a visit. Of note the coffee shop has good service and good coffee and snacks. Better yet it only hires staff with disabilities.

The museum was way bigger than expected, and it showed the life in Bratislava in a detailed manner and from a lot of different angle. Its collection is outstanding, you can see medieval documents (facsimile copies) and various items of the city rich artisan history. From the tower you have a unique view on the old town and the castle,... More

You can pay €2.50 and just go up the Tower - I'm glad I did (I do like a high view!) and got some good pictures of the square below and castle. I went around midday and the lighting was good for both. This is a better view than St Michaels Gate Tower so if you do only one of... More
