What a fantastic time of year to visit Bratislava. This quaint and charming town caught me by surprise. Main square is bustling during the day and lively at night, with the Christmas Market being the focal point and tastefully illuminated buildings serving as a backdrop. Traditional foods like punsch, sausage, pork sandwiches, strudels, langos and crepes are served at food... More

Visited the main square of the old town in late Nov as it was being prepared for the annual Christmas market. As a result, however, it looked more like a construction site than a functioning main square. Obviously still an essential part of a visit to Bratislava though.

Still there's something going on. In winter there are Christmas markets along with music concerts in the summer there are various leisure activities.

Cute little bronze statue peeping out of the ground on the street corner watching the world go by. Be careful if it's busy as you might miss him. I didn't see him the first time I passed by

Purpose of the visit was to see the Christmas market. There was a good range of stalls, although mainly food and drinks, but there were a few with local handcrafted products. There was a huge range of food on offer and what I tried (some kind of long spicy sausage and a pork dish) tasted amazing. The locals seemed to... More

Looks like the main square of a European city) no more no less. It's better to choose cafes and restaurants in smaller streets not the main square because of the prices. Although there's a view here)

Every year, there is a Christmas market on this place which is really nice, but full of people. I like the atmosphere of winter , but I would also recommend to come here in summer. There is a really nice chocolate cafe on this place.

Located in Old Town, consider as the centre of Bratislava city. Many notable landmarks, cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, quirky statues are located here.

One of the most interesting places in town - there are pretty old houses around, statues and shops. Worth a see.
