we had to try this escape game, because these is really not much to do im veszprem. I must say that even though we had no clue what to do, as the game went on, we got into it, and it was really much fun. The guy was extremely friendly and helpful, and every now and then he would slip us a clue, which helped us move on.. We tried the da Vinci code and it was a great experience that got us into these kind of games. One thing though, make sure that your partner is a Hungarian, cause most of the clues are written in Hungarian.

Traveling with international teacher colleagues, we enjoyed part of our school professional development day trying to breakout of the two escape rooms at MisztIQum. The point was to come together and collaborate, build our teacher group interaction skills, have fun, and to create a base understanding of escape rooms that we can carry over into Breakout activities in the classroom with our students. Each of our team members needed a Hungarian on our team, as the written clues, when in language form, appear in Hungarian. My group of three was trying to breakout of the Da Vinci room. We had 60 minutes, and I can say that the clues and level of strategy and critical thinking needed were top end. We did not quite break out, as after 60 minutes we had completed about 90% of the clues. Between black lights and lazers, symbols and codes, locks, and props, our team worked hard and had great fun trying to search for our freedom! This room was very well designed and well thought out. Since everything in Hungarian had to be translated by our Hungarian team member, it did slow us down, but still made the effort and time fully worthwhile. I highly recommend this for a team of 2-4 people (though you may have more). It is a unique and exciting experience to be a part of.
