Lookout to a not very impressive landscape. This is a must if you visit Veszprém but I was not very much impressed. The view is nice, but nothing extraordinary.

Such a lovely place from an architectural point of view, but it also has lovely views over the city. You can have a guided tour of the Old City that would include the Tower as well, but we had arranged for a self-guided tour. You can also make a coin with the image of the Tower in front.

It is great to walk up and see the city from above. From the tower there is a nice tune in dvery hour, composed by Antal Csermak.

Check this tower if you don't mind narrow snail-stairs:) it cost 600Huf/adult, and the prize contain a small historical overview of the castle at the other side of the road above the souvenirs shop.

I've been to many European cities and visited many castles but this fire tower is my favorite so far believe it or not. It's only because it makes piano music melody by Hungarian composer every hour. The first time I heard music was from the hotel nearby in the early morning. Waking up in the music was a joy and listen to it while walking in the nice town is something I'd want to give up a lot other things for. It's very peaceful and beautiful. At that moment You feel that the time stops. Unfortunately this year the music is played with another instrument I can't figure out the name.

Cheap, cool gardens, amazing view - great spot for photos. Recommend the hike up 44 stairs to see the view of the city.

Pretty inexpensive little tower, the entrance to which is somewhat easily missed, but it is right across from the tourist information. Honestly, the views aren't that much better than what you can get from down below so don't climb here expecting awesome views. However, there is some information written in English in the tower that gives it a nice historical perspective.

A beautiful place with charming cafes. There is a free area to explore, the mall is very beautiful and clean. But if you want to buy on the other side in front of the mall you have to buy a buyer and full of quality and cheap clothes. The ice cream is also very tasty and cheap. A beautiful place to spend about two hours.

The Fire Tower at the entrance of the Castle was originally built as a watchtower to protect the castle gate. The tower survived the Turkish wars, The eartquake in 1810 strongly damaged it. During the reconstruction the watchtower became a fire tower
as well. It is also a clock-tower, which plays music every hour.

You can see this tower from everywhere. You can visit it also and go on the top but you can also see it from underneath also. It is one of the symbols of Veszprém.
