The old town of Veszprém and the castle hill is a really nice place to visit. 2 hours is enough for that including to have a drink in one of the nice bars around. It offers also great panoramic view to the city.

Quite a few charming cafes and eateries around, including a jazz bar-restaurant. I have been to many Hungarian small towns but...More

Veszprem was even not in our tourist guide, but what a nice surprise. If you are in the neighbourhood, do take a walk on Castle Hill, a fantastic and beautiful museum town, away from the crowds!
