The 23-hectare, charming Cseke Lake with two small islands was created behind an artificial embankment, with the water of the once abundant spring springs. The lake is a real fishing paradise, with huge sycamore trees and sad willows hanging on the water.
It is a perfect place for walking.

Besides the well-known Old Lake, it is worth visiting the undervalued romantic Cseke Lake in the eastern part of the city and the English Park, which is popular for its beautiful groves, promenades and monuments.
The 23-hectare, charming Cseke Lake with two small islands was created behind an artificial embankment, with the water of the once abundant spring springs. The sources that fed the lake were largely depleted in the 1960s and water was pumped from the Old Lake to save it. The lake is a real fishing paradise, with huge sycamore and willow trees.
A must to see! It looks better than the Old Lake!

Cseke Lake is my absolute favorite. It looks much better than the Old Lake.
We walked around the lake and saw many birds, it was super relaxing! You could check out the lakeside gardens as well.
