This museum has the most amazing art by Margit Kovacs. The pieces are so varied that it is hard to believe that one person did it all. It is a must see.

We wandered in here almost on accident. Entrance was included in our purchase of a ticket at the Ferenczy Museum elsewhere in Szentendre. What a fascinating and fabulous collection of ceramics that also tells you a lot about the life of the artist and her...More

Converted from the very house she lived in, the museum showcases the life and some key works of Margit Kovacs. Excellent exhibit of her playful, sometimes ironic style and her endless love of her country's people and their lives.

This museum is a lovely example of ceramic art. It tells the tale of Margit and her journey through different art relief forms. A nice video and a hands on exhibit at the end make it a worthwhile visit

I believe this museum was originally where Margit Kovacs lived in Szentendre. She was evidenttly a gifted artist principally with ceramics. There is a substantial body of work from the early part of her career (pre-war) to near the end of her life in the...More

The artwork is generally displayed from earliest works to most recent ones. This gives the visitor a chance to see how her work evolved. The displays are spread over numerous smaller rooms allowing one to take time to enjoy each piece without feeling pressed to...More
