We were travelling between Budapest and Vienna and stopped to have a look at this quaint town. Well worth breaking your journey if you have the time.

While not especially interesting in and of itself, the Holy Trinity Statue complements and enhances its setting.

Lovely spacious square in the centre of Sopron. Has some nice terrasses as well. Sopron is definately worthwile. Very quiet, near Vienna and they are renovating the infrastructure everywhere roads are being renewed. I am a fan!

The Holy Trinity Statue (commemorating the end of the pest epidemic ) can be considered as the center of Old Town. This is the ideal location to start the walking tour of Sopron.
