Well worth a visit
Sep 2021
You can spend many hours here, visiting all the exhibitions, particularly the rich Gyugyi Collection. The buildings and the exhibitions are nicely kept and once you are inside, they are well sign-posted. Unfortunately, the entrances to the quarters are not easy to find from the road, even your GPS may be confused. If you want to have lunch inside the complex the Zsolnay restaurant serves the purpose (but be careful what dishes you choose).

You should certainly visit this compound, no need to go inside each building. You may need 2 hrs with no rush to enjoy this compound.

The Zsolnay Cultural Quarter is an absolute must to see. You can drive from the downtown, it takes 5 minutes.
Parking was easy. The details of the buildings and the museums are fantastic!

This place is a jam. Absolutely worse visiting. The handcraft men's street is charming. The vintage buildings of the porcelain manufacture and the decorated walls and roof tiles make this place unique. It has playgrounds as well for the kids.

Unfortunately, we didn´t have enough time to visit the museum, but saw the surroundings, sculpture in the garden. Next time we´ll se the inside as well to follow the history of the famous factory.

Nice area
Dec 2019
It’s a nice area not far from the centre. The porcelain museum has a good though limited collection. The working factory museum however should not be charging tourists cos there’s nothing much to see.

It's worth a visit if you like amazing porcelain creations. We visited a collection which was given by a benefactor. It has amazing pieces and you can go through the innovative process, artists and the unique history of the factory.

AMAZING CERAMIC FACTORY AND SAD STORY
Jul 2019
Built on a huge site by a creative family and expanded on to include the many production areas as well as where this family actually lived. Sadly they were all kicked out during the war years and restitution not given after, which is the history provided by our guide.
The museum is Unique in the world in my mind with so many beautiful objects on display indicating the quality and workmanship that prevalied during its long operation. Just fascinating in many ways and lots of time needed to explore both inside and the grounds.
