Sandy beach with grass areas. Convenient location and plenty activities nearby. It's also very nice for evening and night walks when is the entrance free. A lot of bars and restaurants are here.

POSITIVE: Great sleeping area with grass and big trees so its a shade. Great bars in the background, not to deep for children, sand, good food, good drink, prety cheap, mini golf, swimming pool with cold water. NEGATIVE: no music on the beach, tobogan chusda is not free, wifi to overcrowded, dirty muddy water, dead carps swimming in water, bird... More

For Australians, it seems odd to have to pay to go to a beach, however, we get it. The facilities are very clean (a plus in middle Europe), there are Cafes with tables in shelter or the open with umbrellas, right behind the well grassed areas where you can sunbathe or plenty of shade to chill out. There is an... More

The entrance fee at 800 forint is reasonable as the toilets, showers and changing rooms are free of charge. The grass is nicely cleaned and offers enough shadow to relax without getting a sunburn. The paddle boats can be a bit annoying, but there is enough space to enjoy the water. A bit annoying are also many other visitors that... More

Visited this particulate Strand ( beach ) a few days ago and enjoyed it. Lots of trees to spread out a towel if you need some shelter from he sun. The water is very shallow for about 50 meters and then gets deep. Your walking through some soft silt/mud on the bottom and there are lots of clams underfoot but... More

This was by far the muddiest beach at Balaton I ever visited. It was quite disappointing to walk into the water, I even cut my leg with a clam which the water was full of. For a paid beach I would expect to have a clean shore. Go elsewhere if you have small kids or do not like walking in... More

We liked this strand because it covers a long enough stretch of the coast of lake Balaton and has a lot of well manicured trees so it wasn't a problem getting places in the shade when the sun was getting to strong. The showers and toilets were in reasonable condition and they were regularly cleaned. The staff at the ticket... More

There is a small entry fee to use this beach on Lake Balaton. We visited here for 5 days in a very hot August both on weekdays and weekends. It is great with kids. There are two artificial sandy beaches leading into lovely warm water. The water is shallow for quite a distance out so there is plenty of space... More
