You can enter anytime. There is limited windows. There is a staircase inside so you can look down on the aisle. Outside you have to find off road parking especially as there is a narrow road. The view is amazing. Just visit it. There are excellent places to eat nearby especially on the lower road.

This church is beautiful and located near the grape garden and wine cellars. Amazing place to visit, would suggest as some not-food-orientated fun. (Just in case there's plenty of beautiful panoramic restaurants nearby)

I wanted something to do in the evening so I walked from my hotel to this check - about 30 min walk and I was pleasantly surprised - it was very easy to find and with the sunseting, it was a very nice attraction to visit. Such a small church but such a beatufil location - well worth the visit and some quite time, just as the sun was setting.

Wonderful views from the church. Very old and atmospheric place to visit. Well worth the walk from Heviz to see the church then stop for a drink in one of the many wineries.

This nearly 700 years old church is one of the three survivors from Árpád period. Surrounded by a little cemetery it is charming and peaceful. Don’t expect something like the Dome of Milan or the Sagrada Familia, but this tiny church has its own value.
The very clear, severe forms, the austere church interior, all of them make it worthy for a visit. Planted onto a beautiful vineyard, it was not necessary to go far even for the communion wine.

A must see area of Heviz. Lots of Hungarian history of years gone by. Lovely gardens and historic statues.

It's stood on a hill surrounded by wineries and nowadays restaurants but still its surrounding is quiet.
Although I t does not take a long to see the church, one can feel the history by looking inside out the church and think Mg of the past.
It's hard to believe that this oldest church in Hungary survived for centuries and it keeps its form even now.
I enjoyed the silence all by myself.

This small church is recalling the atmosphere of the early time of introduction Christianity in Hungary. Do not expect a spectacular interior here, just the simplicity and beauty of a simple small village church, which has survived many centuries of tough history.

This is one of 3 Arpad churches in the Balaton area and the first mention of the church was in the 13th cent but the current building dates from 1341. There are pews which would seat a dozen people plus the altar.
