So much fun! It was a great adventure. Our 3 boys and us, took a segway tour with Atilla and we enjoyed it a lot. Atilla was so nice and patient and also taught us step by step how to control the segway. We would do it again, best attraction around the Balaton lake.

Very exciting, the guide is funny and well-prepared. Not difficult to learn using the segway. There was road and field part as well.

Having never been on a Segway before and having seen them in Heviz for the last few years now I had always been tempted to give one a try but never quite managed to fit it in around the fantastic restaurants and delicious wine that is found in the town. Thanks to a bet with my aunt I finally took the plunge and with my wife and aunt, we booked ourselves in for an hour long tour. My wife wanted to do her training which was unusual however it soon became apparent that our tutor looked like a very young Kevin Costner. His English was good and he soon got her on the Segway, followed by my aunt then me. At first we couldn't move along without looking as though we had no spines as we all wobbled like jelly however after a few minutes and after my aunt jumped from her Segway and smashed into the other parked Segways we were all confident to the the tour of the town. It was fantastic fun and it soon became second nature to turn around any people in the way without causing them distress or harm. After about 35 minutes our tutor let us have a few minutes rest and began to fiddle with our Segways. The next thing we knew we were then able to travel at a much greater speed and it was absolutely superb. We began to weave in and out at sped and acted as though we had been using them for years. It was about £20 each for the hour which we didn't think was too bad given the Segways cost several £1000s each and the tutor was hands on with us the whole time (much to my wife's entertainment). If you ever go to Heviz then a Segway tour is a must. I can't wait to go back on one when I'm there again in October although I'm hoping Kevin has got the day off. 😀
