Horsing Around
Sep 2019
Went to see the horse show and was delighted with it. It consists of demonstrations by Hungarian "cowboys" and their very well trained horses. Individual horsemen showed off their and their horses talents. Some horse teams were also featured. Well worth seeing.

Beautiful horses

This is 45 minutes outside of Pest, and popular with tour groups and families. We had a carriage ride, toured the riding trophy museum, watched a riding demonstration and had a huge lunch of traditional foods.

A great show of horsemanship with many interesting facts to learn

The beautiful relation between man and horse was obvious with the tricks, racing, and other acts. The mule and rider stole the show with humour, Ancient hand-made carts being raced was exciting. The carriage ride out into the fields for spirits and snacks was a great way to finish. Highly recommended.

fantastic place

Before going to this place, I had communicated with a lovely lady who was ever so helpful. We got the train here from Debrecen and walked from the station. It is a good half an hours walk but flat. On arrival we were welcomed by the same lady I had communicated with. She took us around, then the wonderful horse show and a ride on the puszta to see the animals. All in all a very wonderful day and experience

Great show and worth the money

This was a very interesting place to visit and they had an amazing show that they put on before allowing you to tour the place by horse drawn carriage and they also allow you to go in the barns and see the animal.

Interesting spot to visit as to learn about original Hungarian domestic animals in their natural environment.

Well Maintained Park in a Lovely Area
Jul 2016 • Family
This is a beautiful equestrian park with lovely animals, but you really need to be into horses or curious about the workings of a farm (or a fan of carriage races) to really enjoy it. As someone who has seen farms before, I found much of the farm to be beautiful, but dull. The horse show was impressive if you are not put off by mild animal cruelty. The lunch was good, with lots of food and wine. The carriage ride in the country is rural, but not scenic. The "zoo" is interesting in that you see native Hungarian animals, but you will be done with it in 10 minutes. There were many kids present and they seemed to enjoy it.

Unique attraction.

Puszta Horse farm was described as a Horse Farm before we went. It is much more. The home of a family who are World Champion Carriage drivers who breed horses. Lippizaners among others. Carriage museum, stables, ride in a wain through the forest and a horse show in the arena. Carriage driving, trick riding with up to 7 horses at a time, archery at the gallop, historical tableau and more. The lunch is something else! Goulash (soup) followed by a platter of meat vegetable etc 2 between 10 people and I defy ANY group to eat the lot. Pudding and wine included. What superb day out!
