Hortobagy is Hungary's only National Park. Great place to bring the family, as you travel around the park in a "historical" Hungarian farm cart viewing farm animals and learning of traditional Hungarian farm life.

Most of the attractions are about the traditional lifestyle of lifestock keepers in the Puszta. If you are interested in this topic, it is a nice place for you. Otherwise it might be a little boring.

I will be staying in Debrecen for a few days this summer. I might like a day trip to the Hortobagy. Does anyone know if there are tours available? Just looking for things to do while in the area.
