About
In 2008 the G1 Gokart Center has opened to offer an exclusive place for a great gokart experience - not only for pro racers, but everyone who likes adrenalin in the everyday life as well as teams, firms who would like to organize an event at a cool and high-tech place as we are. We have strong experience in organizing events, team buildings, bachelor partys etc. We are waiting for our dear guests with 11 years of experience on the longest indoor karting track of Budapest even for a casual karting or any kind of event. Beginning from July 15, 2018 G1 Gokart center has been operating in Asia Center. As part of the reneweal we returned to petrol powered carts. 14 Sodi 270 carts with Honda gear are waiting for the adrenaline hunters to enjoy the ride. 10 carts are able to be in the race at the same time.

Came here as part of a stag do, really nice little track although very difficult to overtake on. In the basement of what felt like an abandoned building but was still good

The place was slightly challenging to find when arriving on foot as the only signage directs you into the vehicle entrance of an underground car park - you need to head into the abandoned mall and take the lift to the lowest car par level. Once we found, it was great fun. The track had a good mixture of straights and tight corners, and the carts were quite quick. We didn't book but you might want to just in case it's busy.

Booked the champion plus package ( 5 races each 2 practice 2 qualifying 1 race ) and the staff were very helpful and spoke good English all was going well until 3 of the lads crashed in the last qualifying accidentally but it could really of been avoided and my group does have to accept responsibility for that. But rather than black flagging and removing the driver/drivers at fault. They turned down the carts by nearly ten seconds a lap ( was a 38 sec lap became a 48 second lap ) this subsequently ruined the last race for everyone involved and spoiled it for those in the group who did drive sensibly and took away the point of the whole thing. If on a stag do would avoid completely and also some karts didn’t seem to have enough battery to last the full sessions without becoming really slow.

We went there with a bachelor party. The karts are full-electric, no gasoline engine. Depending on the kart you use and the state of the battery it starts losing power after 3-4 laps so you don´t compete in the same conditions to the other karts.
We were a big group so we had to race in 3 groups. You can keep track of the karts and times through the screens while you wait so the worst thing came up when we realized that they finished every kart run between 30 seconds and 1 minute before the stipulated time. Considering that each run takes 8 minutes, taking out 1 minute means that they are stealing quite a lot of race time from you. When we complained about that they were very rude to us and kept doing it.
I strongly do not recommend these karting to anyone.

The place is in the parking lot of an abandoned Shopping Center. I really like the line of the track itself.

This was my first gokart adventure, it was a good evening with friends. The cars are fast and safety, the track is interesting, the staff is helpfull.

Stag party weekend in Budapest. G1 was absolutely amazing! Staff were great and very friendly! Great time had by all! Great track and great gokarts! If you come to Budapest make sure you book in at G1!!

We went to G1 on St Paddy's day and booked the Champions package which included practise, qualifying and then the final. All the boys had a great time and didn't have any issues on speed or with the quality of the karts. And for about £25 each it was great value
