Zsolnay porcelain is one of rare beauties and more than art. Every single peace is hand painted. The manufacturing facility is in Pecz, but there are two authentic places in Budapest to visit. The main exhibition is at Astoria hotel and a smaller one is at Kalvin ter 1 (in a passage), near National Museum - a very nice but hidden shop easy to miss. The cross street is Kecskemeti utca. If you want to learn a little bit about Zsolnay porcelain and see and touch a few nice plates, cups, or vases you may want to stop by and to have a chat with a friendly and knowledgeable lady. If you want a nice and authentic souvenir, you can buy a small vase or a cake-plate within a price range 40-70 USD. If you are just looking for a larger collection, the place at Astoria Hotel might be better for you.
