Code13 was a great experience. What a brilliant and interesting way to spend an hour. Full of fun and excitement. The decoration and game design made me feel I stepped back in time. We have played a few other Escape Rooms but this one was different.., expect lots of suprises!:) The puzzles were challenging but very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Code13 and we'll be back once the new room is up and running.

We did all 4 rooms and are kind of happy we're done with it.... But let's do it one by one:

1) Napuche
We did this one with 4 people and I think it was one of the better ones they have. The puzzles were quite nice (some more, others less) and the room and props were fine too. The only thing that really bothered us was that one of the props (a rather important one) wasn't working so the guy just gave us the key once we supposedly figured out the puzzle. We're still not sure whether we did that. THat gave us kind of a sour aftertaste. However, apart from that it was a nice experience and the theme was nicely executed. I think I'd recommend it for 3-4 people since there are quite afew puzzles and the game is not linear. SO if you do it with 2, be carefull not to run out of time when doing everything together. Being more people allows you to split up the work.

2) Zero-Gravity
Definitely the biggest frustration of all. We were just 2 people and ran out of time so badly. We probably only managed like half the game in one hour. So more people is definitely recommended for this one. Especially since there is almost no linearity in the game. So the 10 ish puzzles you can do in the first room can all be done simultaneoulsy. We also didn't find most of the puzzles particularly intuitive and at times we were just standing there just super frustrated bc we had no idea what to do next.

3) Alchemist thingy
We were actually quite excited to try this one with just two people again. Especially since we were told this was a new room so we expected everything to work. HOWEVER, even though the room itself was very nicely done and the puzzles were quite fun, there were a few major hiccups that seriously messed up our experience. This time, however, it wasn't really the room that did that. SO what happened was that we arrived in time but apparently the group before us hadn't so we were asked to come back like 30-45 minutes later. That would theoretically be no problem. But like 20 minutes into the game, one of the locks didn't open with the right code. Apparently the group before us had changed the code. SO the game master came in and out of the room trying to open it, calling his boss to ask what to do, googling videos on how to break open padlocks. Even though it might be considered a special treat actually breaking open padlock during escape room games, it took at least 15-20 minutes to do so. That seriously messed up our flow and we still feel like some of our game time was wasted on this. So we felt kind of cheated on this one. Additionally, once this happens, you stop trusting the other parts of the game.
Another thing was that we didn't feel like we were given all the relevant information before. Usually, you're not supposed to draw on stuff so if you suddenly have to do it as part of the game, that might be usefull information to have beforehand. Anything that deviates from avergae escape room games should be mentioned. Moreover, in the zero gravity room there was a calculator provided in case you have to multiply and add a lot of numbers. That was not the case here even though it should have been done. We already had to ask for pen and paper beforehand. If we hadn't have done that, we would have had to multiply an like 7 pairs of 1-2 digit numbers. So in this case, even though the room was nice, the service was seriously not satisfying. However, we imagine that if all the locks are working and the game master is a little more experienced, this could be a nice game for 2 people. The room itself is pretty small so I am not sure whether more people would actually add more fun. Also, in contrast to the other games, this one is kind of more linear.

4) Code 13
This room was ok even though it was not particularly inutitive. A lot of things weren't solved by solving riddles but rather by finding stuff. So it kind of felt like after 5 riddles, they ran out of ideas so they just started hiding the keys. Still, the room was nicely done and there were actually like 1 or 2 nice riddles. Still didn't feel particularly good after finishing it.

So overall we'd say the rooms were ok and the staff was actually friendly. However, unfortunately we probably wouldn't recommend it further

Dear Flotte v! Thank you for giving us such a detailed description of our games and we are happy that you enjoyed out games on the whole. It’s really not easy to solve our games for 2 people, but it’s not impossible, our Top 10 list includes teams of 2 people too. But because of the difficulty levels of our games, the teams of 3-5 people are ideal. Unfortunately, sometimes it happens that a team will ruin a game item that can’t be corrected until the next team arrives, but our gameleaders try to give the maximum gaming experience in such cases too. Thank you for completing all four games and writing a detailed opinion about them. This is very useful for us to continuously improve our service!

The guide was not speaking a proper English, and he did not explain at all. As he didn't explain at the beginning our time was going to be less because we were lost trying to find the place we arrive a little bit late and he was not helping or explaining nothing.
So we felt we waste our money and time.
The lockers where we where suppose to leave our things doesn't have padlock.

I strongly dont recommend for foreigners.

You called us (talked with me) 10 minutes after your booked date, that you got lost and late, arrived in a few minutes. Then 10 minutes later you arrived at our other location, not where your booked game is. There we clarified that we waiting you on our another location, for 5 minutes walk away. We reported your delay to our gameleader, which was this time 20 minutes. We don’t know what happened between the two locations, but it took another 20 minutes to arrive at the right location, where our gameleader said the rules maybe not with the usual details because of the big delay. After the 40 minutes delay you could start playing the game, where you could play 45 minutes instead of 20 minutes. The team that came after you was already waiting, so we couldn’t bring you more time, despite our efforts. The lockers in the foreground, where the players are puting their stuff, really have no locks, thank you for this comment, this gap will bereplaced. My colleague said that if somebody has problem with this, you can bring your package to the game room too, as some of your team members did. We are sorry to leave you with a bad experience, despite your 40 minute delay, we've been trying to get the most gaming experience and provide you with the most playing time! Some of our gameleaders don’t speak English at native level, but the foreign groups who came to us had never received any complaints.

Our first room with LogiQrooms was Napuche and since we enjoyed it so much we immediately booked another room (luckily another one was available later that evening) Zero Level Energy. We found both rooms thoroughly enjoyable although Napuche remained our favourite. The riddles were unique and challenging and a lot of effort was put into making the rooms look very authentic (especially Napuche) with many different objects and decorations. Our game master was also really friendly and helpful. In general we enjoyed Napuche a bit more because it was more challenging (it was the very first room that we didn't make it out of in time and we have done quite a few which was a refreshing experience ;-) ) and because of the many details in the room. If you are looking for a challenging and immersive escape game adventure we would definitely recommend both Napuche and Zero level energy, but if you only have time for one do Napuche! In general for all escape game enthusiasts both rooms are a must see when doing escape games in Budapest! (they definitely made the top of our list in Budapest were we did 8 in total and the top of list overall in Europe where we have done about 20).

PS. If you are a student you also receive a lot of student discount upon presenting your ID card which is a really nice bonus! ;-)

This was my first time trying an escape room game. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was instantly hooked. I can't wait to visit another escape room. I only hope the next one is half as good. The bar has been set pretty high.

Really enjoyed this room escape. Friendly staff and good puzzles. We've done a few room escapes before and can get through some rooms quite quickly but this room had a lot to keep us occupied, even as relatively experienced players. Good storyline and interesting puzzles.
