A very nice statue, with a local tradition that if you touch the golden balls of the horse it will bring you good luck. Its a bit of a climb to reach the actual balls of the horse just to touch them

Apparently if you touch the Golden balls of the statue of the mounted Andras Hadik it brings you good luck!!! So legend says. They are that colour because the base metal being exposed. As statues go it's ok.

The true meaning of this statue is lost due to the folklore of touching the testicles helping to bring good luck. The patina is rubbed off & leaves the bronzed shiny balls.

This was a different kind of trip as it's apparently good luck to touch the horses golden balls , hard to get up to the horse due to slippery stone but was a giggle.
