This was a walking tour that I booked for the family. I have 3 boys aged 10 and 12. I was a bit sceptical when I booked it. It was 2 hours....at night...in the cold...and it was talking about history. Historical walking tours can be...More
What a fantastic tour! Fanni was so lovely and very knowledgeable about the history of Budapest and so entertaining in her story telling. Would highly recommend anyone visiting Budapest to do this walking tour! You’ll love it!
We attended the ghost tour of Buda Castle on a cold early-October night. We do similar ghost tours in every city we visit, so our expectations are quite high. This tour did not disappoint. Fanni was our guide and my wife and I could not...More

Myself and my wife took the vampire and ghost walk and really enjoyed ourselves. Fanni was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Found out loads of facts about Hungary/Budapest and it's history. Can fully recommend the tour, especially as it's getting near Halloween.
This was a really well organised tour. Great knowledge by the tour guide who had excellent English. Really interesting hearing about the history but would have liked a few more ghost stories, especially those that might have happened closer to the city.
If you are use to going on Ghost Walks, this in not going to be what you are use too. We have done multiple Ghost walking tours and this is not really a Ghost tour. We had about eight stops and most of the stories...More

The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many
events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
